Medivet 24 Hour Dartford

Every time I visit Medivet, Dartford, I am so pleased that I chose this practice. The vets and nurses that I have met have all been wonderful. They have been so caring and attentive to our kittens. My last visit was for our kittens castration and the vet, who was new to the practice, was so thoughtful and thorough in explaining the procedure and reassuring when I worried. Thank you Medivet, so pleased to have you for our little boys.

I visited this practice as an emergency visit after seeing my own vet that morning. Puppy was deteriorating and felt I needed a second opinion. I saw a night vet called Sylvia who was friendly, had an excellent manner and was very professional. She was very reassuring and took a proactive approach immediately. Puppy admitted overnight and for most of the next day. Such a different response compared to my usual vet. Diagnosis appears to be spot on and puppy is so much better. Thank you. All staff welcoming and friendly. Yes it’s expensive but aren’t your fur babies worth it?

My lovely dog got stung by an insect and had big welts over his entire body , I was worried his breathing would go bad . I already belong to Medivet Chafford Hundred. I called Medivet Dartford I was greeted by a lovely girl on the phone , given advice and arranged my visit for an hour and half.
My dog was nervous but the Vet calmed him down and was great with him and given some great advice.
My dog was given an Injection and his welts soon went down within an hour.
great service , great nurses and great reception .
I would recommend Medivet Dartford to anyone seeking help quickly and who use the service normally.

Medivet in Dartford is an excellent vet, my pet Milo got spaded yesterday 28/9/22 and from booking the appointment to Milo having her Op it was a very smooth transition. I would highly recommend Medivet if you love your pet and you want them to be loved by the staff at the vets. 10/10, we are very grateful for the love you showed our Milo. Thank you all. I just wanted to thank the two ladies who were so kind this morning when I came with my 11 year old bunny. Their kindness was much appreciated! I also liked the fact that they acknowledged me as I came through the door rather than wait until I got to the reception desk! You made a difficult day easier - thank you!

Would’ve rated 0 but that wasn’t an option. Called asking for an emergency appointment for my rabbit & I was told I have to get medical records from my old vet. Which is all well & good and I understand that but the problem with my vets is that I can’t get hold of them AT ALL! I explained this to the reception and she quite frankly didn’t care. Considering I was on the phone for ages and the automated voice was saying we provide support for you and your pet… well that was far from the case today. I was happy to pay for private and emergency but never mind. Disgusting service today!! Will be making serious reports.

Also looks like they pick and choose who they want to see! Reading the reviews some people can book an emergency as a new customer without having to give medical history. & others get refused for no reason because we have to get medical history. Why do we have to give details when others don’t have to follow the same procedure? Is it some kind of discrimination against my rabbit cause it isn’t a dog or cat? Or could it be an age this as they feel old dogs are a waste of time! This is based on what I’ve read on the reviews.

The best vets I have attended. The reception team are so lovely that includes the emergency reception team too. The vets here are so thorough with the examinations. Leon has been brilliant with my pug Doug who has had an eye ulcer. The care and examinations that he has had have been fantastic. I waffle on quite a lot but the vets here are so good at informing you of why they are doing certain things etc and are happy to listen to you. Well done Medivet Dartford your hard work is very much appreciated by Doug and Doris who you look after splendidly.

Incompetent people, people at the reception who have no idea about topics related to animals and are not even able to provide information on basic issues. Valuations of treatments in relation to the final cost do not cover a lot of hidden costs
I do not recommend this establishment to anyone
