Best Friends Vet Group, March

My dog, Boots, has been registered and seen by Best Friends for over 10 years. I and Boots have always been looked after and treated extremely well by all of the staff. I highly recommend them to anyone who has a pet or any kind.

Yes staff very warm and welcoming. Took the trouble to pat and call my cat by her name.
Was promptly seen by the vet who was very caring, warm, gentle and reassuring.
Explained to me what was happening and gave me advice on pet care. Would highly recommend this place

Had a feline emergency, March branch saw us immediately and sent us to the hospital in Peterborough where they carried out surgery. Fantastic staff, excellent with people as well as the animals. Cannot recommend too highly. Pleasantly surprised by pricing, they are transparent and clear about costs and estimates.

Queens Hospital in Cambridgeshire contacted Best Friends Vet asking for tablets to be dispensed for my dog. The email specifically stated the the one dose that was required. When I got home, I realised that the vet had dispensed two doses - one of which absolutely was not needed. I returned and asked for my money back (£45) and I would return the tablets. They refused, saying there was nothing they could do. I asked why they had been dispensed when I had neither asked for them, nor required them. They replied that they thought I needed them! They are dispensing drugs for no reason and, at a time when we are all struggling financially, they are profiteering. How dare you dispense and charge for medication that has not been requested by anyone?

NICE PRACTICES . BUT MY ONLY CONCERN IS IN THE 14 YEARS IV BEEN REGISTERED THEM .THAY HAVE CLOSED 2 SURGERY DOWN.
MAKING IT FUTHER AND FURTHER TO TRAVEL WITH MY PETS. AND IT WOULD BE NICE TO SEE THE SAME VET. AS MY DOG HAT THE GO TO SEE THEN 4 TIMES FOR TREATMENT OVER 4 WEEKS . AND WE NEVER SORE THE SAME VET TWICE .
AND WITH HAVE NEVER SEE THE SAME VET IN ALL THE YEARS WE HAVE BEEN WITH THE PRACTICE

Took my Border Collie who was not very well,biopsy was taken of lymph nodes , which turned out to be inconclusive?.
Was told we could use steroids , but nothing more to be done. Was also told dog was not in pain and no painkillers were prescribed, diagnosis was a cancerous tumour in stomach.
Told to phone 2 days in advance for repeat prescription ....only one call was received to check up on him , Phoned this morning to ask for a Vet to come and Euthanise my Dog , my Boy is to heavy for me to lift , was told they had no Vets right now due to holidays and illness, and i would have to wait for 3 weeks , forcing me to phone around looking for a new Vet....my dog is in pain and needed to be attended to.
He is at the end of his life, and we have been shown no compassion or caring to help my dog at the end.
Sorry to say i would not recommend this practice to anyone.

Have used Best Friends for the past 8 years with my cat. Each visit has been great - staff are always helpful and knowledgeable and try to make appointments as quick and stress free for my cat as possible. Never had any issues I would highly recommend!

Kept to appointment time, all staff friendly and caring to my dog which is reassuring to us both!
