They have a great range of products available, ProActive pet plans to help you save some money and you're able to call the practice very easily to reserve items, resolve queries etc.
All my vet appointments here were effective and helpful and the veterinarians always have your pet's best interest in mind.
Would definitely recommend this practice to pet owners!
On arrival, I was greeted by a very dismissive nurse, who time after time told me that I didn’t pick up the phone (they called me an hour before my appointment), they left me a voicemail that I didn’t listen to and I booked the wrong appointment. Even though on their screen my appointment said Nurse & vaccination. I was offered to book another appointment, I had to already wait 3 weeks for this one.
After challenging this, I was told that I was no longer a customer of Goddard, after years of Alex using Goddard, the nurse made a very serious allegation against me, claiming that I was being rude and this results in me being struck of Goddards books, she then asked me to leave the practice.I was then seen by the vet for 5 mins to again tell me that their next available appointment was at the end of November. I booked Alex in for a nurse appointment and a vaccination. The nurse appointment was to see and check him up for his on going skin condition that the practice is aware of. Unfortunately, we were sent home without either! My cat has been neglected by this practice not for the first time but this time they really did not try rectify the problem but instead, blamed me!
Alex has used this service over a number of years, he has used the emergency service on a number of occasions too. We have spent a lot of money with Goddard, with our emergency bills coming up to a minimum of £900 each!
We are now afraid that due to these allegations made against me that I was rude to this particular member of staff after being very upset by their treatment of me and Alex, Alex will no longer be able to use Goddards services.
It’s extremely disappointing, being a customer of Goddard for so many years and to be brushed off because of a simple mistake I made whilst making a booking online. We are now worried that Alex wouldn’t get the treatment he needs, his well-being is not being cared for by the practice.
I am very concerned that Alex has been neglected and let down by the staff operating at Goddards. He is a 9 year cat that has continuously used this service over the past 6 years.
Angel is a great vet and Alex is very comfortable with him, we have never had issues, but his colleagues actions have been appalling time after time.
They are taking advantage of the fact that there are not enough vets in this local area and no private vets. They know their customers will use them due to the good name that Goddard has but it is not fair on our pets nor on us to be treated this way because of a malfunction.
After everything, Alex was not seen and was told to come back in 42 days.
