Pentney Abbey

Great place middle of nowhere. Wildlife all over the grounds. So clean and well kept. Will definitely be coming back here and staying again

I was a guest to my daughters wedding here in June..
The venue is in the most beautiful setting and the abbey itself just amazing. The staff couldn't have been more attentive , I'm not sure if the musicians came with the venue but they were absolutely brilliant and I'm not exaggerating sounded like they were playing a record of the romantic song covers they sang.
It was a packed 7hrs of activity which flew by, and the staff were both visible and yet invisible. They were of the highest professionalism.
Food was of a high standard and I won't spoil the surprise for guests attending here but the between meal food was both surprising and fun.
Was an amazing day that was most certainly made even more memorable by the smooth , friendly and exceptional setting and staff.
The rooms and main hall were of the highest historic beauty and made the wedding a joy.
The walk from the bottom of the abbey to the wedding room was of a uniqueness that was original to this abbey again making the actual event even more memorable.
The whole place was geared to making the wedding of the highest quality and beauty and they did so exceptionally.
There wasn't a single thing I would criticise.
Anyone thinking of having their family to this location and having it as the setting for their wedding day would not be disappointed and again everything was of the very best standard.
A exceptionally beautiful and professional setting whose organisers know what the couple are looking for on their most important day and deliver it with style ,elegance and a lasting impression.

I was fortunate enough to attend my niece's wedding here. Well maintained cottages on site surrounded by ample grounds. Excellent attentive staff. Would definitely recommend. Site also has ample parking.

We went to a lovely wedding here. The various buildings and grounds are very picturesque, the food was delicious, and the staff were extremely efficient and polite.

We had our wedding at Pentney Abbey in August 2022 and it was just amazing. We were brilliantly looked after by the team at UNV throughout the whole journey and Jess did a brilliant job as our co-ordinator both over this time and on our wedding day. We had a perfect day and Pentney Abbey is a perfect and incredible venue. We loved how it was rural with just fields surrounding and we had wonderful relaxed celebration which was exactly what we wanted!

The most perfect venue for a beautiful winter wedding. The service was nothing short of amazing, as a guest at the wedding, I felt that everything was very organised and staff were friendly and attentive. Everything went according to plan. The food was absolutely delicious. The authentic castle feel was beautiful. Bar staff were great, and the ladies bathrooms has a hairdryer AND A HAIR STRAIGHTENER - HOW COOL?!

Gorgeous wedding venue, I had a really nice time here whilst photographing a wedding. It was really well run (shout out to hannah!) and oh yea the food was soooo good. I mention food quite alot as the reason I love a venue so much but yea, fab! Oh the grounds were super, and the renovated parts are in keeping with the original building

The staff are really helpful, and the venue is a lovely place for a wedding!
