Boots

Went to store for help on an error with an online order to be told by the manager she was too busy to help me. I’ll ensure she’s not quite so busy in future by shopping elsewhere

I'm asthmatic and unfortunately picked up the flu this weekend. My Salbutamol inhaler ran out yesterday and I've been left terribly short of breath and wheezing so I requested my GP send down another prescription. They unfortunately sent it to the wrong pharmacy which I didn't know till I got to Boots. I am sure their team of three could how unwell and out of breath I was I couldn't care less. I verbally made them aware how serious the situation was and that I was on the verge of having an asthma attack and the told me to call my GP or 111. After 20 minutes of staying on hold to speak to my GP whilst struggling to breath the receptionist at my GP told me I had to simply call the other pharmacy to release it from 'SPINE' (some sort of prescription software). This is knowledge I imagine the Boots pharmacists should have know let alone a receptionist. Yet rather than pick up the phone and request the other pharmacy to release my prescription so they could supply with my inhaler, they chose to leave me suffer. I always thought that pharmacists have a duty of care and would try to help you when possible, I now know that I was naïve to think that a Boots pharmacist position is anything more than a well paying job

Not a huge store but does carry a very good range of products. Pharmacy open until midnight every day except Sunday which is a massive bonus.

Even though this is supposedly the best boots pharmacy in town (they are well slow, just tend to keep most meds in stock)
The boots it self the stock has been low or empty every time I've visited. Which doesn't look good. Might be too big of store. It needs a change in store really. Bigger pharmacy area, and a smaller shopping space.

Assistants very good in helping me to find items I needed.

Worst customer service in pharmacy!! My daughter was really sick and there was no medicine in there,so I ordered for medicine to collect next day on given time by them. But when I came they told me order didn't come so they need to order again. I asked them that how come you ordered and order didn't came unless you didn't make any order? There was obviously no answer. They don't ever care if anyone is very sick or I am sure if anyone is dying. If I could, I would give 0 star to this kinda service. Really annoyed 😡

Much nicer than the large boots in town. You can actually find someone to help. Which then will lead to sales!
