I have used a number of bike shops over the years, having recently moved to St Albans I needed to find a new one. This shop is excellent, with a good range of bikes and an excellent repair/service The owner is extremely knowledgable and is happy to chat and offer advice. Highly recommended.

As well as expert advice, & friendly service I was very impressed with Paul’s keenness to really help me out and offer some interesting chat whilst getting me kitted out. I felt like an individual not just another customer. Really excellent service. I know he did me a few favours financially speaking too. I walked away with a better bike than initially anticipated, at a better price than seen elsewhere and equipment best suited for my build and experience. Very grateful.

I rarely write reviews on google, but this bike shop is expectational. My previous bike's entire back wheel got stolen outside the station last December, and I took the bike to this shop, the owner was really helpful, he ordered the parts for me, gave me a quote and fixed it for me at a very high standard. Unfortunately my bike got stolen last month outside the station and I had to get a 2nd hand one, and had experienced some issues while riding it last few days. I took the bike to the shop today, the owner was extremely helpful. He was in the middle of of fixing a bike but kindly stopped and had a looked to my bike and listened to me explaining what the issue was. He immediately noticed couple of other minor problems as well, and fixed them within 5 minutes. I asked him how much I need to pay, he said no worries, it's ok. He is so helpful, friendly, kind and great at what he does. I feel incredibly lucky to discover such great bike shop in St Albans.

Paul was so helpful whilst I was trying to decide on my new bike. He was happy to chat, explain and was honest about what I needed. Set up my new bike and even threw in a coffee! Highly recommended.

You know you're becoming a cyclist when spending time in a bike shop is a pleasure not a chore. Expected to get my bike back some time next week, but get the call from Paul (early evening) to say it is ready, see you in the morning. Grabbing coffee from baked nation (Tip: Paul drinks Americano), I enter the shop and exchange pleasantries, of sorts - we both know I'm here for the bike... What a difference one hour of Paul's care and attention to detail has made to my bike. I spend an hour or so talking bikes and make some further purchases. Having tried a few other shops for various things, this is now my bike shop. Not even through my first year on a bike, Paul's shared knowledge is invaluable and all for the price of a coffee, parts and labour. I'm actually looking forward to my next visit already, oh and Paul, the bike rides like it's new, thank you.

Had a puncture which needed a quick fix and Paul went above and beyond my expectations. Took glass out of both tyres. Tightened the head set. And the price for labour and inner tube was so reasonable. I ended up leaving with winter gloves. Overshoes. Front and rear lights and finally understood where the stop start button is located on my Garmin 530. I highly recommend this shop and owner. I got home safe thanks to you. Thanks 😊

We were at the start of a 150k ride, my friend had a mechanical problem and Paul very kindly helped us without charge.
