Excellent service . Kept my Kuota on the road today by using a donor bike shifter. Would have taken 2 week's for the warranty claim - 5 star service 😎

Ok not a fan of writing negative reviews however here we go. I took my wife's bike a couple of years ago to get it serviced. The gears were not working properly I was charged approx 25 thats fine but it still never worked properly after the service. I thought oh well move on . A few years later i took my sons bike in , gears not working and specifically told him chain the keeps coming of . I collected bike still not working properly and took it back he had another go - still not working - returned the third time with my son and told him still not working his response was user error . I was dissapointed and too embarrassed to return and a even more disappointed i gave them another chance such a shame I really wanted to support a local independent . i also wanted the whole headset changing on my trial bike . I wont be going back sorry to say fool me once ....

Great little bike shop with expert mechanics who really know their stuff. If you've got a bike problem, this is the place to get it fixed.

On way into Kendal Town I accidentally overloaded and bent the rear derailleur arm (probably because I shifter gear whilst stationary) I visited Brucies and they repaired the mechanism promptly and expertly whilst I waited. Very many thanks. Ubique Peter

What a marvelous find! Complete supply of lights, accessories, parts, frames, vintage frames, parts, tyres, wheels... EVERYTHING a cyclist could want, and a very nice selection of clothing in all sizes. The best part is the kindness, knowledge, and helpfulness from the proprietor!

Absolutely fantastic took my bike in twice now for repairs and they fixed it immediately. Nothing is to much trouble for these guys. First class service and excellent prices, will definitely get my custom again, can't rate them highly enough.
