Three away my old perfectly good inners, gave it back to me with brand new fitted EMPTY tires, essentially giving me more work than I would have had if I'd just bought the tires and changed them myself.

Also replaced a chain. Overcharged me and didn't even know how to tension it. Seriously guys come on.

Staff not trained correctly and have no knowledge of how to use online systems correctly

After dealing with incompetent staff for 35min to place an order online because the shop had zero stock. The Wi-Fi then dropped and none of the computers worked. The staff on the floor laughed about it and then didn’t even apologise for the inconvenience or waste of time. If I hadn’t asked for a photo of the product codes the staff wouldn’t have even had the foresight to offer.

Furthermore when I went online to order evans charge you an extra £20 whether you deliver it to your home or their shop. Daylight robbery!
And lastly when I went on line to find the items I ended up saving £80 because it appeared that the staff had chosen the most expensive items.

I had a bike crash on the way home and cycle past this place everyday. The chain was jammed into the frame and I hadn't been able to fix it on the street so was hopeful they might be able to help. They asked to see if I was okay as I'd had a crash which was so nice, and very quickly made the repair as soon as they were free. Within about 10 mins total bike was repaired and I was back on the road. They didn't charge me as it was just a chain that needed pulling out, and I would definitely come back for other services. Essential store on this road as so many commuter cyclists come by, Thank you!

Called ahead to book simple job checking they had the parts in which they said they did and would put aside. Turned up later same day to find they did not have the part. Work they did then do took 2.5 times as long as they estimated. Staff did not seem to care it was all so shambolic. Really poor

Not professionally shop when buying a new bike waiting 2 days for a service inspection. In addition, the bike was not picked up because the service did not know how to set the gears and additionally the bike was scratched by them

Great guys in here. Super friendly, super helpful and give you a great service for a very reasonable price.
Plus are always happy to help with easy fixes like leaving the bike pump out front.

Visit this shop twice to fix a rear flat tyre and they fixed without problems, today I visited again with a flat and the lady refuse the bike with the excuse that they don’t service electric bikes.
And Uber home since the other shop close by is closed on Mondays…

Visited Evans Cycles Clapham High Street this afternoon to look at Bromptons and Mountain Bikes. Chris gave up a lot of his time to talk me through the various options, strengths and weaknesses, advised on frame style, wheel and gear set up, and the best way to work out what models would be best for me. He was extremely helpful and delightful to talk to. Thank you for your help.
