This is my second time buying from BMW Farnborough and another great experience. From start to finish Jack Langley was excellent with his knowledge off used BMW and sourcing me the right car we had a deal done within a hour . Jack went above and beyond whether it was responding to email on he's day off and still communicating late into the evening. We hit a few snags when the car was delivered but all the issues were sorted in quick time. Also a mention to the lady's on reception with always greeting with a smile and a cup of coffee .

My experience with Group 1 Farnborough was exemplary from start to finish. Arriving unannounced on a very busy Saturday, Senior Sales Manager - Richard Thorne, made time to engage with me momentarily, whilst heading to another customer. He came back to me, as he said he would, and that theme continued from start to finish. Great guy. Superb service throughout, and whilst I’m under no illusion that I am one of many potential customers Richard would have been looking after, he made me feel like I was a priority, like a high-touch service should be. In the latter stages, when concluding a car purchase, Tiffany King continued this friendly, professional service through the Finance process.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Richard Thorne, Tiffany King or Group 1 Farnborough if you’re after a quality car and first class service.

Vast majority of their used cars are vehicles that have been in an accident! I’m taking mine back as the vehicle steers to one side(wheel alignment didn’t fix this). When you shut bonnet one side doesn’t close and needs pushing down to close. Definitely a vehicle in an accident. Check out trust pilot many others say the same about this garage. All other bmw dealerships have good rating but this one doesn’t.

Customer service was fantastic after losing my wheel locking nut and being told from a different branch they wasn't original and they needed drilling off so i damaged one trying myself but by chance stopped in the farnborough BMW branch which is not a parts department and asked if they could help, I didn't catch the gentleman's name but in 15 minutes he had the broken bolt off and a key to remove the other 3 while i waited in the customer waiting area, what a life saver, greatly appreciated

My wife had her 320d serviced at Barons, Farnborough. When I checked the dip-stick after the service, it was clear the oil had NOT been changed! It was jet black & smelt of old oil! When I contacted Barons I was told that they had used a new kind of oil that goes black instantly! After I went back to Barons and kicked up a fuss, they finally admitted that they had forgotten to change the oil! I would not trust them to service my lawnmower.

One of the worst car buying experiences of my life, broke down on the drive home from the showroom, promised a new car. 6 months down the line and a whole host of issues with the car it is still not fixed and still not replaced. Customer serviced ended the moment they took the money. Given every fob off known to man, and said the 'salesman' who sold me the car left, so all my emails of him telling me it was being replaced and chasing him constantly are no longer valid, and they don't monitor emails of staff who leave, so if you have brought a car from these highwayman don't bother emailing them as it won't help you. Sadly I've had to instruct a solicitor to help, as I've upheld my end of the deal, they sadly haven't and really don't care one you've signed on the dotted line. Also car came fitted with 3 x run flat tyres and 1 x normal tyre invalidating my insurance which was only picked up by their service department, to then be told by their 'Sales Manager' they never inspected the car it was their Brighton branch and they won't be replacing the tyres even though it is part of their approved standards!!!! Avoid like the plague. Anthony R

Very Corporate set up, unfriendly, not willing to help or offer alternatives. I've tried to buy cars here several times, as they often have something I am keen to buy, but they have a very much "take it or leave it attitude". There are plenty of other big BMW Dealers across the country that are far better, super professional and try their hardest to please. Will not be visiting here again and I have a new BMW every year.

My 4 year old BMW had a coolant leak. Phoned to book in and was advised earliest Appointment was end of January 2023. Wrote and complained. Service Manager phoned back and asked me to drop the car in and they would look at when they could for £190 per hour labour! Local garages charge £70 to £110 so how to BMW justify this?
3 days later i chased and they advised I need a water pump which was on back order til early Feb into Germany and then 10 days to the UK. So without a BMW premium brand with support until Mid Feb
Not impressed and doubt I will not replace with another BMW.
The local dealer is fine but not supported with parts whihc is ridiculous. If you need a service book weeks in advance
