Unfortunately a bad experience with the main dealer. Car taken in for inspection 3 times cos they couldn't detect a problem. Only the last time they gave me courtesy car-on Friday and told to come on Monday for senior technician check. The car wasn't ready till Wed afternoon and upon arrival to pick it up I found a car dusty and filthy, and half tank of diesel less (!!). No apology or compensation suggested. Shocking service from the main dealer which I would never have expected. I would recommend if you do decide to go there record your car before hand and check thoroughly before you leave. I've given them a chance to rectify before writing this but unfortunately they don't care. Needless to say I will not be taking my car back to this dealer, and would not recommend anyone else to either. AVOID IF POSSIBLE!

Had contacted BMW in Canterbury close to where I live as my boot would not open due to a piece of material caught in it. I was advised they were very busy and I would need to bring the car in and leave with them for a few days. I explained I was due to go away in the next few days but no further help offered. Despite being an hour’s journey away I called Stephen James and got a completely different response - welcoming and friendly and advised to bring the car in and they would have a look at it. I did and the very charming Danny fixed it within 5 minutes ! Thank you !

Today I picked up my approved used Z4 and could not be happier with the service at Stephen James Ruxley! From my initial enquiry about the car, Danny has been superb. I haven’t felt pressured and I was allowed to come to a decision in my own time. He kindly sent me a personalised video of the car and offered to focus on any particular areas I wanted to see. Since reserving the car, I’ve been dealing with Chloe, who has been absolutely fantastic liaising with me to arrange a test drive/collection of the car! She was so warm and friendly today, nothing was too much trouble! She even talked me through all the features of the car and set up my phone as part of the handover. Chloe was even thoughtful enough to ensure the car had enough fuel for my 3.5 hour drive home! Faultless service from both Danny and Chloe, thank you so much for helping me secure my dream car, you’re both a credit to this dealership!

excellent service was sent there by my lease company for a key fob that was not working. the lease company had messed up the booking. Charlie was extremely helpful changed the battery while I waited. couldn't be more impressed.

Nice engagement and efficient service. Able to do everything remotely on purchase of my Mini Cooper Sport. Many thanks to Ian Elmore for sourcing a brand new car quickly that met my spec and making it happen within 10 days.

Will Potter and his team at Sidcup did a good job of helping in securing my car.
They gave me a complete cleaning set for my car aswell.
The lady at the reception was fantastic and professional aswell. Will definitely go back for another car and recommend the dealership to my colleagues!!

Worse experience ever. Made an appointment by phone for a recall regarding a 2018 g30. Took the day off from work went to them and they said there is no appointment made. Car was leaking coolant so unable to drive. They told me to leave the car there but have no idea when they have time to look at least at it and to make another appointment will take at least two weeks. Explained them that I depend on car to go to work as I don't have trains in my area and they didn't care. No courtesy car as well. Pleasure of owning a bmw what can I say. Disappointed.
