Really bad experience goods are not checked prior to delivery. 3 sleepers ordered one was a totally different colour and bowed in the middle. I was not there when delivered and not available when my builder installed them and presumed I was happy. Horrified when I returned to see the state of one of them. MBS customer service I have to say extremely poor and its my fault because yhe builder has installed them, I get that in some ways but has left a bad taste in my mouth. If they had been quality checked prior to delivery for a near enough colour match ( not what I have two totally different colours ) and also straightness then I wouldn't be I this position. They just don't care, not good enough to my mind I could remove the sleeper that is in and they could change it but no offer of this at all

Went into shop ask about a couple of screws as samples to see which was best. Was laught at and told unable to do samples, asked him to price 2 screws, he said £1 making it 50 pence per screw........
Robbery....he kept his screws.
I will never again use again.

Richard is an absolute gentleman, he looks after us everytime we go in. Nothing is to much trouble and products are really good.

Really helpful people. Usually have what you need or if not an alternative that will do. Prices are pretty average for a builders merchant, depends what you’re buying.

3 hours waiting outside on double yellow lines to get tipped rude staff .very dangerous site, Cement mixer driver tried using his vehicle to intimidate me to move making a bad situation even worse another puddle jumper driver narrowly missed me whilst squeezing passed my trailer and a hopper whilst I was restrapping my load. Health and safety is very poor at this place .

Excellent service, really helpful, great prices, delivered on same day when needed extra on the Saturday, would definitely recommend them.

1st visit. What a helpful, friendly group of guys. Local supplier of everything for everyone's needs. A place i might just visit regularly.

Quick Saturday visit in store after having several tonnes of sub base delivered over the last month. Josh was very helpful and showed us round various chippings and cobbles. Great local supplier.
