I had an appointment at this centre and was treated by a staff member named Diptu Ghale. Ms Ghale made me feel very uncomfortable on the basis that she displayed very unusual behaviour upon learning my vaccination status. I informed her that I was unvaccinated and she proceeded to call me selfish and implied that I was unhygienic.

I defended myself and said getting a vaccine is a personal choice and should be of no concern to her but her attitude remained very snarky and condescending throughout the rest of the appointment.

She then tried to subtly coerce me into changing my mind by attempting to make me feel guilty.

I can’t say I have ever received this type of treatment under NHS care and the situation was very bizarre to me.

My heart goes out to those who have been effected by covid-19 or have family or relations that have been effected.

My elderly mother was made to feel very comfortable by the staff. However when trying to collect her prescription she was told she has to wait an hour as they were on lunch. I appreciate people have to eat but would it not make sense for there to be cover during breaks so elderly patience that are already in pain or discomfort are not left waiting around.

My brother and I were treated very rudely by a female member of staff who is already named twice on this reviews page. My brother is autistic which I explained to her but she was still being very rude and impatient. Have sent a complaint to head office awaiting a response xx

I had a cataract operation in September 2022 and the result was a joy. I didn't recognise myself in the mirror - I looked sooo old. The colours and shapes are so vibrant, and I can see clearly for a long way. All the staff were very helpful and kind. I would recommend having eye treatment here.

Very difficult to get to due southall traffic, tedious 20mph speed limits and nevwr ending Bus lanes on Uxbridge road (Not the hospital's faults but still annoying)
Terrible parking which is difficult to pay (have to pay cash or use phone as contactless machine not working... have to pain in advance? At a hospital where you have no idea if you'll be 1 , 2 or 5 hours!!
Entrance to moorfields section has no walkway. The receptionists are ridiculously rude especially if God forbid you don't have your NHS number (I haven't recieved an appointment letter in 3 years)

And are we still doing covid? Masks required... (except the receptionist)

I have been under the care of Moorfields at Ealing for about 5 years now when I was given the choice of where to refer to. I picked it based on Moorfields reputation and, although a fair drive for me, the experience has always been worth it!

It is extremely rare for Moorfields to move an appointment and generally you are finished within 2.5 hours. The staff are friendly and helpful and the consultants are world class.

I've been under the care of Mr Addison, Mr Kam and Dr Nicholson during my time and all three are extremely knowledgeable but more importantly, personable. You are never made to feel they are too busy for your questions and they take the time to explain whats happening in easy to understand ways.

Another special shout out must go to Ash on reception who is always friendly and helpful and Raj the pharmacist.

Thank you for looking after me so well.

Everytime I have been to the eye clinics I have always had excellent service. All staff in reception, different clinics for different tests have looked after me perfactly with, care, concern and respect including the opticians who fitted my spectacles. Thank you very much to all staff at moorefields outreach in ealing hospital. Keep up the good work. 22-09-2021

Absolutely disappointed by the service I received. I woke up early and my daughter had missed a day of school in order for an appointment for her eyes. The moment we entered, the staff did not greet us or help at all and we had no choice but to find our way through. When we asked about our appointment, we received an ignorant reply and were simply told that our appointment had been cancelled. However, I had only cancelled a previous appointment for my daughter and I had not received ANY letter at all regarding the cancellation of the current appointment. When my husband called the clinic to ask and complain about the difficult situation they had put my daughter and I in, he was accused of “screaming and shouting over the phone” and the staff did not do anything to help. My husband also decided to ask for the name of the rude staff who had been complaining about us over the phone, but he refused to do so! Overall a disaster and will definitely not be recommending to anyone!
