Boots Opticians

Today 16th November 2020 9am
We arrived for our first appointments here.

Everything was in place to keep us customers (my husband and I) and the staff safe.

We were greeted by Alison very proffesional and helpful with great customer service skills Alison looked after us extremely well.

We then met Aziza who checked our eyes for us both once again very proffesional looked after us both extremely well.

We both noticed how clean the Opticians was more so in the eye test area where Aziza thoroughly cleaned all of the equipment she had used for us in front of us.

Well done Boots 2 Happy Customers here 😊😊

Thoroughly lovely and professional. Reasonable price for an eye test.

Condescending customer service.

My daughter's first eye test, no explanation given of the process.

We were led to the rear of the building for photos to be taken. We were then ushered back to reception and then nothing. I stood there waiting while she moved on to another customer. Only after she explained that I needed to be seen by another colleague. The eye examination conducted very professional. However, on leaving the locum's office, she gave what can only be described as a "back handed" compliment, which was so insultingly patronising.

Used to rely upon Boots to tell me an eye test due etc. Not anymore. First they seemed to lose all record of me- then it took a host of emails and phone calls and visits to get reinstated.
Recent eye check and new formula was all very efficient and professional. The reason I have given two stars.
But then they called me in " as my glasses were ready". Well one pair of reading glasses was in but the distance glasses were not in nor been missed!
After a weeks wait, I called in. The glasses were now in but no one had bothered to tell me! I also had to ask for a copy of my prescription.
Pretty shambolic performance and not the old Boots at all.

Excellent service. All the staff were so kind and helpful very patient especially as was the end of a very busy Saturday.
One of the girls was especially good and made me feel at ease as she was so kind and told me exactly what was happening all the way through the one of the tests as did the optician.
Would definitley recommend.

Last minute cancellations infuriate me. I have waited over a month, and now they expect me to wait over two more months or will put me at the top of the priority list… so I have to run when someone else cancels? No thanks , I’ll take my business elsewhere.
