Being a bit of an av geek and having the best husband who absolutely ruins me, we booked a suite here for some plane spotting. Honestly it was fabulous. The suite was such a good space, clean and quiet. We ordered room service and the food was yummy. Views onto the runway were spectacular. We took some binoculars which enabled me to see into the hangers and all the activity buzzing about the place in more detail. There is constant runway activity until about 11:30 when it goes quiet for the night. The soundproofing is very effective although I like to hear the planes so opened the sliding window and left it like that all night. I am a light sleeper but wasn’t disturbed until my alarm went off.
If you are a fellow av nerd and looking for a comfortable space where you can chill in your comfy clothes, drink/eat whatever and see some awesome landing and take offs, this is where you need to be.
We are already planning on coming back!

Decent airport hotel.
Rooms are fine, just what you need pre-flight, basic but clean.
Restaurant was blocked off for BA flight cancellation people so food was only being served in the bar area which was very noisy and dark.
When we asked for an alternative because half of our group had hearing issues, we were provided with a table in the restaurant next to the group booking.

Needs some routine attention. Halls smell of left in hall room service. Air filter in room messaging need filter change...kept slipping into HEAT mode from cool. Wall paper needs some TLC. Carpet should probably go. Icon sign bulbs are not completely lit. Staff very nice and helpful. Lounge food decent if you know what you want and how to prepare....good because no real local food options. Sheets and pillows are good.

Being an aviation photographer I have always wanted to come back to the UK for holiday. The Renaissance London Heathrow Hotel is one of the best hotels to pick for your stay. My room was on the third floor and offered an unobstructed view of the runways and airport. I had booked an executive room one double bed (more like a queen size) with runway views for £126 plus I added the full English breakfast for an additional £10 per day. Well worth it !! .
The breakfast selections was outstanding and you will get your fill. The lunch and dinner menus are great. The Renaissance beef burger with cheese and fries or the pepperoni pizza were my favorites. The staff were all very friendly and helpful… A+ !!
The only small issue I had was that the bathroom tubs were quiet tall to get in and out of. Knee issues made it a bit harder but there are plenty of places to hold on to.
This hotel should be on top of your list to stay for your next holiday. I can’t wait to come back again.

Great location and great service, our room faced the runway which was great for watching the aircraft taking off. The bed was spacious and comfortable and the room itself was very clean.
The bar/restaurant was very good and for an airport hotel quite reasonable on the price of drinks and food.
I wouldn't recommend the hopper bus for transfers to the terminal as it was a free for all when it came to boarding the tiny full bus, we were lucky a taxi driver pulled up just in time before things got messy.
(Hopper return ticket price = £10 per person, uber/taxi shared vehicle price £5 per person)

Located fairly close to the Heath row airport, this hotel has a lot going for it. The rooms are fantastic. Breakfast is brilliant. Dinner buffets are bang on and have enough option for vegetarians too. Their smoking zone is outside the hotel and has parking space too. Good option to stay especially if you are having a day long layover or so between flights.

Long, a bit musty corridors, but quite nice rooms. Complimentary tea & coffee are available in the rooms. I'm not a big fan of the smell of the shower gel, but the shampoo and conditioner left my hair soft and shiny without weighing down. Also, the towels were nice and fluffy. However, there was no hairdryer in the room, nor an extra blanket.
The buffet dinner offered to the rebooked British Airways customers had a very nice roasted chicken.

Stayed recently for a work conference. The hotel staff were welcoming, room spotless and beds extremely comfortable. Food was exceptional given the amount of covers they had to manage. All food outstanding from breakfast, lunch buffet and our 3 course meal. Well done.
