Service was gruff. Staff seemed slightly confused. Things got to us, it wasn't bad. Just not attentive. Possibly to do with just that day.

Really pretty location. Lovely view of the Thames and the back patio is very pleasant

The reviews are correct- should be 1 or 2 stars at most - staff are too busy with to deal with guests. Passive aggressive - a full fawlty towers comedy experience.
The Jamaican family being barked at with “white or brown” ,young family being charged for a full breakfast for a child - beds not made - all this would be fine if they were in any way friendly - I commented that I had stayed there 40 years ago and just got off a long flight from Australia greeted by the manager( basil) with a shrug, no customer experience skills.
Great location and should /could be great with just some care. The owners must know that they are the only place left after the anchor shut across the road. Netflix studios opening nearby will give the Americans a horror show of appalling service.

Lovely and quirky place. Room was clean and had all/plenty of necessities. Really friendly and accommodating staff. Lovely food at great value (I had steak and they even had vegan ice cream!) Thank you for a lovely stay! :)

Room was not the most hygienic, also one of the windows was cracked .The bathroom door did not open properly and the top falling apart with cracks inside and out.Going past the big hand stain on the bedroom wall you can see the bed mattress which is in dire need of removing its stained on one side with springs sticking up .it all blends in with the watermarked chair at the desk .no telephone ,no bathroom extractor.A hotel once well appointed but it is not anymore ,with minimum staff its obviously dated and dirty.its also fine if you like heated frozen meals rather than handcrafted by the ( chef ).

All the staff work to give you the best service and you certainly couldn't ask for more the down side is that the place is a little tired. But location is absolutely beautiful. Highly recommended it.

On the positive side, the service at the reception was fast and friendly. Good size and clean single bedroom, comfortable single bed, hot water in the shower, kettle with some biscuits. There was even an ironing board in case you are on a business trip, which is handy.

On the negative side, the parking is very busy and you might not find a spot. You cannot park on the main road either. The hotel begs for refurbishment. Leaky shower hose. The bedroom is not sound proof, I could hear every step in the corridors and the people talking in the next bedroom even though they were not loud. My sleeping was interrupted so many times because of the noisy stairs. At 5 am I heard the TV in the next bedroom as if it was in my room.

For a budget hotel, there are cheaper options out there that provide more comfortable accommodation and

Every time we have eaten at the Warren Lodge we have thoroughly enjoyed the experience but Alison and the team go all out to make Christmas Day lunch special. We had a great dinner and a wonderful time. Well recommended.
