Super location if you are heading to the ferry port the next day! It's about 10 minutes to the port border check. Rooms are clean and modern, hotel itself is a little bit dated. Staff were friendly. Family room is not larger than standard room it appeared and we were quite cramed. Also the bed configuration is different to shown with the two children beds being next to each other rather than on both sides of the master bed. Not ideal with older kids! Breakfast was okay, however we were slightly irritated by cleaning still going on all around us including loud hoovering. Still, all in all, can recommend if booked at rate in advance, otherwise other options may be preferable.

First hotel we stayed at during our holiday. We had an accessible room. Bed was very small and low to the ground. Not very handicapped friendly. The panelling around the bath was lose. This should have been fixed. Dinner at the restaurant next door is great.

The room was very clean and tidy and the member of staff on reception was lovely. Was very annoyed to see a sign on the reception desk advising that no breakfast would be available the following morning as we had already booked and paid for breakfast. In all fairness, we were refunded but think that perhaps some communication beforehand would have been helpful.

Stayed here last night. we stayed in a 4 star hotel a couple of nights ago and this hotel actually trumped it, despite only being 3 stars. Nice room layout. Quite spacious. Only thing that could be improved is the water pressure on the shower. But overall I am happy with our stay.

Great if you like to share your bathroom with the last guests (or maybe the ones before) toenails/ fingernails all over the floor. Limescale'd up toilet (easily resolved so not sure why so disgusting). The room had no heating and thankfully we didn't need it but they made no mention of this on check in.
Food was average at best unfortunately but staff were lovely. Checked out at 4am so wasn't stopping to make a complaint.

Sent a complaint via email about cleanliness (as it's not usually something we have a problem with at PI) and was told we would have been eligible for a refund but couldn't have one as we didn't complain within a week (well we were using the hotel as a stopover on the way to France for a holiday so didn't have chance). When I mentioned this fact they said they had nothing further to say and wouldn't reply again? 😂 Great customer service.
Considering I always use Premier Inn for my visits I won't be booking again and I suggest if you're using it as a stopover before a holiday you better be aware that they expect you to get in touch whilst you're away. Ridiculous.

Brilliant hotel. I had an issue with the HDMI Port in one room, and Atika went over and beyond to get us another room. Really pleased with her service, as well as the stay at the hotel!

I got stranded in folkestone of all places it was the early hours....I tried numerous Premier Inn and other similar accommodation options only to be told I couldn't book in at that time in a morning. Luckily I came across Shayne who I hope or should be a manager at Premier Inn Dover A20, he sorted out accommodation at his location and was very friendly and helpful. Premier Inn staff around the Folkestone area could learn alot from Shane's level of customer service. I rate this particular establishment 10/10.
