Excellent modern hotel, very well planned, easy parking, welcoming, bright & clean, lovely staff. Good breakfast buffet well organised with everything they do pleasantly and efficiently done. Great room, comfy bed, good storage, with nice fresh bathroom. Room decor not quite my style, but fine for us. Guest service was very good, they aim to please.

The hotel is good value for money, however we were left slightly disappointed with our stay. We stayed for 3 nights and our room was never cleaned despite us leaving the door hanger that requested our room be cleaned and being out all day until the evening. Thus, we were left having not tea or coffee in the room as it was never replenished. We were never given fresh cups, towels or sheets during our stay. It isn't a bad hotel, its great value for money for what it is. We were left just confused as to why our room was never cleaned. Also, there was rarely anyone on the reception desk.

The staff were amazing 🤩 they resolved any issues promptly and efficiently. They came across as a very strong team. We lost our cafeteria (our own fault) on check out this had been handed in… great hotel thoroughly enjoyed our time was visiting Bridgwater for a Christening, so the Ibis was a great base. Thank you

The decor of the room came as a shock despite having looked on the website as part of the booking. The cool, industrial, modern feel instead, due to the size of the room, made it feel like a prison cell. Room was small and the concrete emphasised that. We joked about it all night. Had I have been there alone for business, I think I'd have felt rather depressed.
Lack of a bath was disappointing, was looking forward to a nice soak in the tub.
Aside from this, room was clean, bed was super comfortable and staff were friendly and helpful.

Clean and cosy room, tasty food, but the key ingredient that makes the difference is the staff. They were all very friendly and helpful, especially Nikki from reception 😉 and Jane from the bar (and her beautiful smile 😍). They made me feel very welcome, and as I stayed here for a month I can say that it really felt like my second home.

Stayed here for 1 night on our way from London to Cornwall. Nicely decorated room, attractive restaurant and bar. The bed was very comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately this hotel is incredibly understaffed. This is not the fault of the staff who were there, they were all lovely and were always busy doing something, but as there just wasn’t enough kitchen, waiting and cleaning staff the service was so so so slow at both dinner and breakfast. The same lady who worked the restaurant/bar late last night was also working the morning shift for breakfast. The range and availability of food for breakfast was really poor, and as we didn’t have time to just wait around for ages for more food to be brought out we just asked for a refund - no bother it was processed quickly and easily. Our room wasn’t very clean, there was hair in the shower, dusty surfaces everywhere and stains in the sink which would have gone easily with a bit of bleach. Again I think this is because there was only one lady cleaning all the rooms on our floor, I’m sure she did the best she could but I have no clue how she could thoroughly clean all rooms between guests on her own.

It’s a real shame because this hotel has the potential to be really really nice, it’s clear that management just aren’t that invested in supporting its staff or in offering a quality stay for its guests.

This is my first stop at an Ibis hotel and going on my experience this time, it won't be my last. I was warmly greeted at the check-in and then sat having a coffee in the warm and inviting bar area, before going to my room. I loved the modern decor of the clean and well kept room, which I found the perfect size for my needs. The bathroom had a spacious shower with lovely warm water and the room itself has its own temperature control, which I took full advantage of, as I always find hotels far too warm. With the temp set at 16 degrees, I slept like a baby.
The food that I purchased in Keepers Kitchen, the in-hotel restaurant wasn't anything special and I do have a a problem paying over the top prices for burger and fries. If I stop here again I would go and find somewhere local to eat.
