Hayley and James, what an amazing weekend, been to southwell a good few times now, and I can honestly say this was by far the best experience we all had, great hosts thank you! and Jay Jay with the karaoke 🎤 Absolutely brilliant, Already can't wait to come back, keep up the good work guys 😁

What a warm welcome we had from James, Hayley and JJ! They could not do enough for us! The beds were so comfy ☺️ looking forward to another visit very soon

Amazing staff polite and always happy to help you. If u have a problem or uncomfortable they are happy to keep u safe. Love the pub great atmosphere

Spent the bank holiday weekend at the Crown very clean and very welcoming.
James and Haley was very helpful and went out of there way to make our stay very enjoyable alll 12 of us have booked for next year

just called in today sunday 21st august just passing after a small walk in southwell just fancied a bite to eat so we called in on the off chance they were just doing snacks but it was good food the bar lady was chirpy happy friendly made us welcome it was served with a couple of drinks and asked if we were happy with our food which we said yes it had two tv choices of viewing plus a juke box playing, games room for pool and a dartboard

Room was light and airy. Family room with a double & single bed. Comfortable and dean with fresh towels. Tea & coffee making facilities and water in the mini fridge. No meals but a good selection of places to eat. The owner and staff were welcoming and friendly as were the customers which made my stay enjoyable. The only downside was the bathroom which could do with updating. Good bus service round the corner for Newark and Nottingham. Southwell minster cathedral just round the corner is worth a visit. Good base for exploring..

Friday night with karaoke and dart board, decent hobgoblin ale, bar side shot games like popping pirate and crocodile teeth. Cheap pub.

Excellent pub!! Lovely atmosphere!! Owners! Such a lovely couple!! Great local pub for a drink!
