The doctors at the practice are very nice when you manage to get an appointment to see them. The new online appointment service is absolutely frustrating in the sense that patients are not able to access the help they need on time as required. I needed an urgent appointment, after completing the online form, I was informed that the doctor will try and contact me in 3 days. I think this is very disturbing. I worry more about appointment than the actual sickness itself which is very annoying.
Patient are indirectly diverted to go to A and E even when it’s not necessary
to do.

My review is definitely for Hamilton practice and a I have been registered since 2014.
I thought reviews are for quality control but it seem to me that you just want to cover the flaws. .
I feel the practice can definitely do better if they listen to their patients.

The Doctors are great and really helpful. But the receptionist here is so rude and not attentive to any needs at all. Wouldnt let me return my call to a doctor who tried to call me earlier today

So happy about the service I had at Hamilton Practice, Dr E, Galpin was very dedicated to her job. And she had soo much knowledge in her field of work. It didn’t take her long to figure out what the problem was. Dr. E Galpin the best…😂😂😂 Hamilton Practice No. 1…..

honestly beyond disgusted at my doctors surgery. i’ve been reporting the same health issue over and over, and have still not been seen or helped with this, just palmed off until it’s now reached crisis point, the new appointment system is beyond a joke, you can’t even contact them at the weekend or make an appointment. you are putting more strain on hospitals and the nhs. i have seen doctor after doctor for every single one of them to just dismiss my issues. this is costing the nhs more in the long run, ive taken up twice as many appointments as i should need to, bcos nothing is being done. overall, im extremely unhappy, been struggling for 8+ months with no such idea as to what could be wrong.

I've tried to call the GP for more than 50 times in the past 10 days, and there are no secretaries available to answer the phone, ever. They keep us waiting and then the call comes to an end. Really bad service.

I have been with Keats House Hamilton Practice for over 35 years and I used to rate them highly but their service to their patients has declined significantly since COVID. I have tried 3 times recently to get an appointment with a GP and have not been given one.Even simply getting antibiotics on prescription is impossible now . It seems they hide behind the online booking system that's in place to avoid having face to face contact with patients which is a shame.

I want to say that all appointments i had with doctors are top 10, but it's hard to get to them, especially your doctor, because of the difficulty of getting an appointment, it happened to me (and not only once) recently i feel very bad and I got a telephone appointment on the same day, and I obtained a prescription for my problem..., so far perfect, to which I was asked if I later wanted to have an appointment to see the doctor in GP, I answered, yes, of course, it was given to me on 21 Dec after which on 19 Dec. I received a message that it would be my appointment (I thought it was a mistake, .... anyway, I waited to be contacted at the set time (from the message) no one called, the consultation did not take place, after which I went to the GP for the initial appointment on 21 Dec. thinking it's ok. it didn't happen, of course, telling me that I didn't show up for the one on Dec 19 and it was canceled, I really need a doctor in certain situations, because I often make decisions on my own what to do, what to take at the moment the crisis, but it is incredibly difficult for me to communicate at the counter, I feel discriminated ... ,,, and another time, for example, I was very sick and they gave me an appointment in a month, of course after a month I was able to solve it the problem and I canceled it, no longer needing it, so in conclusion, it is very difficult to get to a doctor at this GP.
