One of the few places we could get replacement hearing aid battery's so we'll done for that and the staff were very helpful

My wife and I had a periodic eye test and we purchased a pair of prescription spectacles and sun glasses each. We were very pleased with the overall service offered. We both required minor adjustments to the fit of our ordinary spectacles after initial use. The adjustments were carried to our satisfaction in a polite and helpful manner during our visit to the opticians.

Having previously attended Specsavers in Welwyn Garden City with the superb Dr Armstrong I was keen to remain with Specsavers even after Dr Armstrong had retired.

The choice was between Stevenage or staying at Welwyn Garden City with the incoming franchisees.

I therefore visited both clinics to browse the frames and chat with the optician assistants.

Thank goodness I did. Stevenage Specsavers won hands down. Incredibly helpful, professional, reassuring and significantly more modern equipment.

The optometrist "Hemma" is not only every bit as excellent as Dr Armstrong but has invested in the latest diagnostic equipment. The whole process was both more exact and more in depth than even in 2020 in WGC

Hugely recommended. Easy parking. Convenient location. Daily appointments available. Superb range of frames. Both technical and fashion assistance available. Most impressed.

So far so good with this branch. Only had to have a replacement frame under the warranty but the staff seemed very helpful. Bit slow for the replacement (8 days) fortunately I had a spare pair, but can't really blame the branch for that.
On the whole Ian easy stress free experience ..unlike my previous branch.

Both my husband and I have used Specsavers for many years and always been delighted with the whole experience. The receptionists and experts testing our eyes are friendly, helpful and experienced. A couple of weeks ago we collected our latest glasses and, although my husband always has glasses that react to sunlight (reaction lenses? - sorry never remember the correct word), I chose this route for the first time as was advised this would aid my eyesight. I am delighted with them as is my husband as usual. Thank you for your sound advice. Our thanks deepened… However, a week later my husband took a very nasty tumble up our garden steps and not only damaged himself but the nose pieces of his glasses, although the lenses appeared undamaged. The following morning, a Sunday, I phoned Specsavers in Stevenage, told them and asked if it was at all possibly to replace lenses into a new pair of frames - luckily they checked and had exactly the same pair of frames in the shop. Instantly they said this could be done that day. I drove there immediately and the receptionist had the glass frames out and ready and within a couple of minutes his lenses were refitted. I was so very pleased…but what I thought was really great, I only had to pay £26+ for this excellent service and not the additional £89 for the new frames. I was stunned and said, ‘Are you sure?’ The lovely receptionists says it was their Policy! An excellent policy! My husband was very happy too. Huge thanks to Specsavers and their staff at Stevenage Queensway shop. Thank you.

Hello to everybody, they were not professional. Did ordered my glasses last Monday 30/04/21. Was told by the staff to collect it today after 8 days. To my surprise they bring me the sample and told me that they need to order and that will take a week again. I’ve paid them in full on 30/04/21.
Relying on them was using a pound shop glass.
So I have to get my money back and went to another shop.
