Without doubt my best and most professional eye appointment ever!

It's a matter of time before this fine gentleman gets snapped up by a private practice so get him while you can!!

I went for my own eye check before and the optician was fabulous and staff were ok. However, today I had a horrible experience. My mom's appointment was at 10:50 am, got a call at 9:50 from them asking us to come 10 min before. When we reached there the staff were very rude and blasé in saying that there was only one optician so we have to wait atleast one and a half hours. Why couldn't they call me to say this? And forget about apologising, the attitude of the front staff was unfriendly and obnoxious to say the least.
Definitely not going there for another eye check ever.

My daughter is a client at specsavers, she received a nasty eye injury whilst being abroad doing judo. Specsavers were amazing, appointment the same day. Very thorough and the optician advised us as a precaution to attend a&e for an x-ray even though her vision was okay. Fractured eye socket. Can't fault the service and even a personal follow up message to check she was OK. Thank you specsavers Dartford .

I went back to Specsavers as my glasses purchased needed adjusting I didn't have an appointment but they still saw me and adjusted my glasses. They made sure I was happy with the adjustment they made, they were very polite nothing was to much trouble.I would highly recommend them

Failed to update my new prescription 3 times for contacts after my eye test and one month trial (was told my prescription would be updated) so I received my old prescription contacts because I didn't attend a health check, which I then attended a health check to get this resolved. (Reordered contacts and got prescription updated) Picked up 3 months worth of contact lens 2 weeks later and just received my next 3 months through the post and all my contacts (one month just opened) are still my old prescription. Called up to complain and was told my prescription isn't that much different anyways which is CYL-1.75 to CYL-3.25 (nearly double) the contacts optician told me it's just a number. What kind of optician/service is this? Also said he would only order me 3 months replacement when they have given 6 months worth of my old prescription after the health check which was the reason it came wrong the first time. Once I get my 6 months replacement I am cancelling, awful service, numerous calls and attending trying to resolve this, not even an apology, would not recommend Specsavers.

Update. After I spoke to the contacts optician he gave me a call back later the same day and said he spoke to his manager and was told to offer me 9 months contacts. I told them I’m just fine with 6 months which is the amount of contacts I received with the wrong prescription as I’m not after freebies, just the right contacts. He said it will take 3 weeks and garenteed it will be ordered right this time as he is doing it himself. 5 weeks later no call nothing so I called up and no contacts. The person I spoke to said he will have to speak to the optician that dealt with me and call me back after the weekend on Monday and again said he will put it in his diary and make sure to call me. Tuesday now and haven’t had no call tried calling up 4 times and no one is picking up. Should have never used Specsavers, The service I am receiving is a joke. give up on this place.

Cost me £6 in parking. Sloooow. Seem understaffed. Pre booked appt was for 2.30. Only left at 4.20. They also had me down for an glasses update even though i had booked online for a health checkup as getting thicker floaters, i wasnt told why i was seeing more even though told my eyes looked healthy to them but I am doubting the competence now. Ridiculous.

I found the staff very helpful and friendly, the place has had an update since my last visit, new computers and smaller test equipment, but still the same quality, overall a smooth experience.
