Bed side manner? Common courtesy? You will not receive either from Dr Anaden or Dr Wong. Sad times when Dr Wong makes a clinical decision over the phone on the last recorded weight on file which is over 2 years old, she was not interested in what I had called in about, seemingly had no idea. Was only interested in a medication review and didn't even read the consultant letter on file until I read my own copy to her. Completely useless, I feel like I have no where to go. She then gave me just 3 months prescription which has always been 6 months forcing me to visit the chemist in December which considering I am sheilding is a really stupid move. CQC says requires improvement, I say need a miracle. Receptionists are lovely though.

Doctor Anandan called me back today. Ask me what my problem is. Then told me to go to the chemist and put the phone down. This doctor is so rude. He can’t even string a sentence along without having to stop every three words. Time to move to a new surgery.

I've seen lots of bad reviews here and my advice to anyone would definitely be to move Dr's surgery. Since moving surgery myself and my partner have been receiving amazing care and feel like we have drs who really care about our wellbeing. Dr Anandan is terrible. Whenever he asked us a question and we went to answer he would say "just a yes or no thanks" like he wasn't interested in anything else we had to say. Also, when my partner had an ear infection, he put the ear scope in her infected ear and then straight into the other one without changing or cleaning anything. My partner then got an infection in the other ear the next day. He also prescribed myself medication, and kept on prescribing it to me for months and by the time he decided to help me come off the medication, it was to late and I was already addicted. I've been battling ever since. I have raised my concerns with the surgery regarding Dr Anandan, especially in regards to my partners ear situation and unfortunately they just don't seem to be bothered or do anything about it because looking at the reviews, he is still the same.

Extremely poor service! Doctors are good but the reception stuff is incredibly bad. It was bad before, but now is even worse. New trend now is do not even answer the phones. Waiting for 3 week just to find out about my son's blood test results i can't get in touch with them the line is busy or no answer. After waiting for 30 minut
es you kind of give up. I know that no one is going to do anything about it doesn't matter how many complaints we make. We pay taxes and everything and can't even get routine health care support. Sad situation!

Since I registered my daughter at this surgery from birth, I have had terrible service, treatment, and lack of expertise within the staff causing problems on numerous times. When complaints raised takes forever to get back to you and nothing is done and terrible excuses.....

The Dr who rang me this morning was marvellous, I felt he listened and now giving me the right treatment. In my view Bury Rd has gone up in estimation

I recently transferred to bury road from another Gosport surgery after a house move . Today I had to request a new prescription request, I’d also only today just downloaded and had myself verified on the NHS App which apparently allowed me to make the request. So, I clicked all items that I needed (I was impressed that they all showed). I left it a few hours and then thought I’d better call the surgery to see if they could see it. The receptionist was lovely (sorry I didn’t ask your name!), not only could they see it, it had all been actioned and already with my nominated chemist. Excellent service and charming with it . A great first experience
Thank you ! :-)

Dr Anandan should be struck off. He doesn't care about his patients at all. One of the receptionists (a northern accent) was really nice.. But there is another receptionist who must be, or at least should be, married to Dr Anandan. They deserve each other. The GPs in Gosport are the worst thing I have experience since my move to Gosport a few years back. An embarrassment to themselves and the NHS, what's left of it. Do Gosport a favour Dr Anandan... throw in the towel! You are clearly beaten by it.
