LAKESIDE HEALTHCARE

This practice is a disgrace, I question every penny you are getting from NHS. You call to get a doctors appointment, only to be told that doctor will call you and assess if you need to be seen ? So i am ill for 5 days and get told to continue with paracetamol (surprise!!!) for the next 5 ??!?!?! It is a recent example, but it gets even worse, Child has an ear infection, got to walk in wait 4 hours only to be told he is fine and continue with paracetamol, get few more days and was finally allowed a visit with the doctors who prescribed antibiotics straight away as it was so severe by then. Shame, go back to school and stop practising pseudo healthcare! Already on the waiting list to dump this practice, prefer to pay for private, some people do not realise they have lives at stake. Pathetic service!

Gp's DR Ahmed DR Darko Dr Baxter all 5 star help. Very professional experienced and the reception staff are so kind. On the phone and on a visit. The reviews here by others are utter rubbish. They get threats and verbal a use by seriously bad tempered people every week. Recently a physical attack police called.
Gp's are increasingly going part time as the work is exhausting. There are not enough gp's all over the country. BE KIND.

Absolute joke when you need basic care never anyone to answer your calls. Phone at 8 and your 100 in the queue.. will be changing surgeries.

Worst doctors, referrals not done properly. Very long wait for appointments and blood tests. Take several days to call you and don’t have time to listen to actual concerns, no compassion or understanding. Very poor service and would not recommend whatsoever.

Went to lakeside on Wednesday receptionist was lovely to me,and did what she said she would do.On the otherhand the doctor phoned with in 15 mins and diagnosed my mum through a telephone saying she was prone to panic attacks,my mum.was admitted to kgh lwith covid pneumonia

For me personally ive never had any real issues with this surgery. Yes admittedly trying to get through at times is a bit ridiculous...nurses and the doctors have always been good to me ...and as for getting appointments ive had no major issues either ....just my opinion....

After 6 weeks of treatment for a hand wound today ,I was discharged by AnneMarie, one of the exemplary nurses at this practice that I was privileged to meet.
I was first seen by Alice, who ,with kindness and thoroughness began my treatment, and followed my journey through ,as she and Marie worked on my wound.I was also helped by Marybeth, Helen, Scarlet, and Marie, who all gave me a pleasant experience under trying circumstances.
I would like to express my appreciation to each of these diligent, professional and friendly nurses, they made a trying time so much easier
Thank you too to the friendly, and helpful F2F receptionists for their friendly approach to patients, they appear calm and dedicated under sometimes trying circumstances.
Once again, thanks to everyone I was privileged to meet over the last 6 weeks

Amazing service can not fault the place from the receptionist to the nurses and doctors they are always efficient and work as fast as they can and to get service 8-8 everyday I think people take that for granted..
