Second time this year I have had a face to face appointment following an initial telephone call. Both occasions I had been listened to, taking seriously and supported. The service from the Doctor and the West Country speaking receptionist was fantastic. The NHS is struggling but the staff at Whitemoor are really trying their best.

I have had to take my children in for several urgent appointments thankfully I have always been seen the same day and have been very relieved about this as have heard many practices do not see children as urgently. I have also been seen the same day myself especially soon after having my children when I have needed to be seen quickly. The system of same day appointments seems to work well at this practice. I would say the econsult is a little frustrating even for the tech savvy, I imagine if elderly and not computer literate this would be very challenging indeed but hopefully those who are unable can book over the phone. I have mostly required urgent appointments so have done this over the phone and always been offered at least an appointment with the nurse practitioner so would recommend this practice to families with children. The doctors when I have seen them have been very helpful and thorough. I have also not had to wait long for appointments with doctors either

Needed to see a doctor same day, got a phone call and then a face to face. Listened to and acted on. Very efficient got us into Same Day Medical Emergency without having to push for further investigations. Definite improvement on service, even on pre Covid. As regular visitors due to chronic health conditions they are very good.

Both doctors and reception team have been amazing over the past 4 weeks. I attended the practice with a pain in my back, a month ago, only to end up being referred to hospital with a range of exploratory investigations to be carried out.
I'm terrible when it comes to organising my life but the reception staff contacted me daily/weekly to make sure I'd arranged appointments that I would otherwise not have engaged with.
A massive thankyou to all the doctors and staff who really make this a most efficient and professional practice.
In the most difficult of times the NHS soldiers on and for one I am thankful and grateful for their support and reassurance.

My recent experience of sudden onset illness .First rate service from this Practice. Good contact systems, caring and efficient staff. We have felt privileged to be served by such excellence when the nhs in general is getting such poor reviews-Thankyou!

After an appointment to have 2 stitches taken out by the nurse after my biopsy, was then told they have no appointments so I was to call 111, they politely told us that they were not an appointment system and what we was told was incorrect. We then rang back to be told to contact ripley wound centre so we rang them who do not deal with stitches. So now it looks like I will have to take them out myself when the time comes. Your receptionist told us to contact direct, and also 111 do not make appointments. But the thing I find disgusting is the fact that not only do I suffer with mental health which I am struggling with if you bother to look at your note but al I have type two diabetes. Also it turns out that doctors of today are not the solution but the problem.

Don't do advance appointments, only see patients if it's an urgent issue. Stay well away from these doctors. I've had an issue with my shoulder now for nearly 6 months. I can no longer do any sport, condition now acute & still unable to get an appointment at doctors or a referral. Looks like I'm going to be signing onto long term sick as finding it difficult to do job, could have been avoided if I could have only got the medical attention I needed when I needed it. Only been to doctors 2-3 times in nearly 12 years & yet they are not there when you need them. Very poor, seems doctors only care about pushing the services they get paid most for.

Awful doctors don’t recommend. I went on with a clearly broken toe. She looks at it and says “ well it’s possibly broken but there’s nothing I can do “ I think fair enough and it’s only my little toe.
I then asked “ shall I stay off it for a while “ to which she replies with “ that’s not a good idea seeming it’s been broken for a few week’s already it’s not like I’m going to give you crutches” I never even asked for anything like crutches cause there clearly no need I then left and now going to speak to someone as the pain is getting worse
