Rang up for a face to face appointment for my Husband only to be told that the waiting list was so long there was no point in putting him on it! Got told by the receptionist to go to the A&E department if he was suffering that badly…I know the GPs are bad at the moment but to not even offer a solution other than A&E is a joke.

Actually can't believe myself that this is happened to me. I had a fall resulting in torn ligaments in October, was told I'll be on a waiting list for a doctor call back as initial care was given by a&e... westside said it will be a 3-5 week wait. They called me back in Febuary asking if I still need to see a doctor.
On more occasions I have had huge problems getting any prescribed medication e.g hayfever medicine for my 3 year old boy. They booked me in with a doctor who told them to tell me to buy it over the counter.
Lastly I booked in for an urine infection, was told I don't need antibiotics, resulted in me going to AnE suffering with very bad lower back pain. After being triaged at ane I was told I have sepsis and as my water infection has spread to my kidneys. Took 3 days of work to fight sepsis, caught covid at the hospital and had to find emergency care for my 3 year old.

This is the worst surgery I have ever been to or heard of. Seeing less people than during covid. Cues up to 57th in the morning when you call. Never had a face to face appointment since Covid. Always rude staff. When I put a complaint in regards to staff managers call back and side with them entirely.

I am looking to move asap

Called the doctors this morning and was given an appointment at 2pm this afternoon. Doctor Khan was absolutely brilliant! Very thorough and made me feel completely reassured and was also very friendly! I hope he stays at the practice.

Telephone system is rubbish, rang at 8:30 on the dot. Went from 25th to 10th when I got cut off. Rang again to be 34th on the queue. Waited for 1 hr to finally speak to receptionist to tell me no appointment left and try tomorrow.
Disgusting service. Their website doesn’t work either. Unbelievable!!!

Was very disappointed this morning, I had my bloods taken back in December for my diabetic review. Couldn’t book in before Christmas so had to make do with the 6th January.

Turned up at the surgery, 5 mins early, as I always do. Another gentlemen came in and was also seeing the diabetic nurse and his appointment was at 10.15, mine was at 9.45am. At 10.11am the gentlemen was called through to see the nurse, so I asked the receptionist how come he has gone in before me? Her response was, I’ll message the nurse to find out. I was then told the receptionist had not registered me in so I couldn’t have the appointment as I would need a 30 mins and I had missed my slot!

So I am now booked in for the 24th January after having my bloods taken 8 weeks ago for this appointment! I am not at all happy that I was sent away to go back in 3 weeks time!

Very disappointed Westside, I’ve never had an issue before, but was generally upset at being turned away when I had turned up on time! Also I have never missed an appointment.

I don't think I have ever called in and been any lower than 10th in the queue. The other day I called in and I was 27th!!! It is quite possibly the worse gp surgery to have to call in to..

I've been on hold for over 35 minutes now and I've only gone down 3 queue places...? I'm convinced they must be just ignoring the phone.

If I could give them 0 stars I would!
