I've found the Peel Practice to be very responsive when I'm in urgent need, which seems to have been a lot recently. All the doctors, nurse practitioners and other staff are usually friendly and helpful. The building and facilities are clean and modern. On the whole, I'm glad I registered with this practice when I moved to Tamworth.

I have been using this doctors surgery for a number of years now and it has become better and better. Like any other practice it does have its downfalls, however considering how busy it is you are always able to see a doctor if your issue is urgent. It may not be the doctor you want, but if you're ill surely that doesn't matter! I have seen a number of doctors and all have been helpful, friendly and willing to help. It is however always worthwhile telling the receptionist when you call what your problem is, as some doctors may have a specialism in that particular field. There is also a new and improved pharmacy based on the premises who work closely with the doctors, so your prescriptions can automatically be sent to them. This pharmacy is open long hours, both throughout the week and on weekends. Only superficial improvements to be made would be the decor and more receptionists on the desk / answering the phone.

In early July I was diagnosed with Covid-19, the day after experienceing a hideous panic atrack at work, which then escalated into two secondary infections and a suspected heart abnormality. Dr Yannamari and his team have been nothing short of amazing.

I felt like dying and the Peel Medical practice were there for me. I initially filled in the online form because I didn't want to be a burden but I was phoned and reassured. I had to be looked after outside of the area because I had no one near me. Dr Yannamari organised for me medicine to be picked up from a nearby pharmacy.

I am back at work and they've already organised for my follow up ecg for this week, I am exceptionally thankful to this practice - I felt depressed, lonely and I wanted to die at one point, they gave me so much and we often take Dr's for granted
Thank you to the Peel Medical Practice for looking after me 🙏🏻

Awful service.
They do not bother call you with your results.
They are reluctant to make you a doctors appointment.
The pre-recorded message is over 2min long.
The new online system doesn't work and is designed to send you to a pharmacy instead of seeing a doctor
If your lucky enough to get through on the telephone as most of the time it cuts you off immediately , then your normal position 20 in the queue.
My tax has gone up this year to over £15k with £4,700 going to the healthcare and I cant get my 5 year old seen by the doctors.
This is an absolutely disgrace and total rip off and something needs to be done.
Ordered prescription last week 15.07.2022 to Primary pharmacy. Chased this Wednesday this week as the medication was very important. "Their response was "errrr for some reason it got printed here at the clinic and now we have lost it." I asked why have things got so poor and there response was sometimes these things happen and we are short staffed.
Their pre recorded new message at the beginning of the call is only designed for one thing and that's to get rid of you off the phone.
I wouldn't mind but the NHS isn't free. I pay nearly £5k a year for the service. The Health Service Ombudsman needs to intervein with the poor level of service we are receiving.
I want the choice to organise my own health care with the £5k I spend a year on the NHS.

Easier to see a Vet than the "Lesser Spotted Doctor" in this place. They freak out if you turn up at the door, and if you call they will tell you to wait for a phone consultation, and theres still usually no way of actually seeing a Doctor, they just bounce you in to a Hospital, which is why the A&E departments are always full because you just can't get to see one of these clowns.

And, my surgery has 14 GP's in it. They should be on shifts, they open when you are allready at work, they close while you are still at work, they don't really do propper late openings and neither do they do early morning openings either, and let's not forget that weekends are out too. I have absolutely zero sympathy for GP's now. I would give zero stars if possible.

I had a blood test with Tracey today. I am very afraid of these and she was fantastic. Really puts you at ease and I can honestly say I didn't feel a thing. She's fantastic, so compassionate
