Drs and nurses are good but unfortunately the receptionists team let down everything. The receptionists are so rude, unprofessional. It take ages to pick up the phone.

Kandola and her cronies here are simply VILE human beings!! Can't believe she owns the surgery and is actually allowed to practise! Can't believe any of them are allowed to practise, come to mention it! AVOID like the plague!

I tried calling over 150 times in 2 days to get through to someone with absolutely no luck. Even tried on 2 other phones to check it wasn't me. What are you supposed to do if you cant even get through to reception???

I would like to say that I was very well taken care of by Dr Fraser. He is very knowledgeable, listens and was able to help me.

Trying to get an appointment is an absolute nightmare. Once I had to dial 150 times only to be told that all the appointments were gone!!! It's a basic human right to see a doctor and this practice is not delivering. For a person who very rarely needs a doctor ( once a year) it is very frustrating not being able to see one. I've been with the surgery for over 4 years and not even once I was invited to do a basic health check. Would be moving from here.

Have finally got to the end of our patience with this surgery, as with everyone who has found it absolutely impossible to get an appointment, my wife went in for a blood test over a month ago to be advised after having chased a number of times that the results had been lost. Come the second time the bloods are taken and yet again they have not called to give results. To add insult to injury, my wife also booked an appointment (telephone) over 3 weeks ago and was advised that the doctor will call on your mobile. My wife was driving home from work, missed a call and had a voicemail from Dr Kandola advising that you have missed your call and you need to book another appointment or call 111. Couldn't even try back a second time .... are you supposed to stop in the middle of traffic or endanger your life and answer a call while driving ? Basically we are now on a lottery basis to get support from the NHS.

I'm in the process of moving from this Medical Surgery due to a number of things, the main reason apart from finding it almost impossible to get an on the day appointment to see a doctor and the badly mannered receptionists, the fact that I've been prescribed too high dosage of medication for years that I did not need that has been slowly making me relient on medication and causing me to have high blood pressure and hypertension (second stage) when I did not need such a high dose in the first place, I only discovered this when I spoke to an independent doctor and pharmacist, they both had concerns when I told them of my medication while I'm transferring to the new surgery, I was told to stop the medication gradually and take a lot less (more than half the dosage prescribed) or in the very near future I could become hospitalized or worse.
The problem with this Surgery apart from the few I mentioned above is most of the doctors are passing through and with this never get to know your conditions if you have a long term illness on your file and just prescribe you more medication, some of the doctors don't seem to bother reviewing patients when they have prescribed them new medication, as there are different medications for a illness/symptom and also medications that can make the illness/symptoms worse or can even be fatal to certain people as they do not suit every person. Amongst all the faults at this surgery this really needs to be addressed first before it's too late and costs someone's life.
We all trust our Medical Surgery and mainly our doctors with our lives but we should all change a medical practice when things are not acceptable as your well-being should not be half measures but with full care and trust of a competent doctor and friendly reception staff.
Stay safe.
