Waited over 30 minutes to receive an internet order and trainers were worn and had different laces. Claimed they had more in stock only to be told they didn't 10 mins later and ended up leaving with nothing but a refund which takes days to be returned. Always a bad experience with JD. Go to footlocker don't waste your life with this shops

My parcel order was delivered at this store 5/7
and they made me wait 60mins to search and then ultimately told that they have lost the parcel and can’t trace!

This is the worst service I have ever had of late.

I went to the shop today with money and an intention of buying a few items. Specifically I wanted a pair Nike vapormax. They did not stock any adult size in this trainer which was a bit disappointing as I wanted to buy some. Also there clothes range was quite limited. I guess this is due to the size of the shop. I suggest they stock more up to date clothing and trainers. Staff very friendly though. Probably wont tey and shop here again. Will just travel to Croydon so I can shop in a branch with a wider range.

Staff are very slow more interest in playing with pricing gun than serving customers. Would not go there again!

Not a store for the over middle-aged but excellent efforts to help from Amy, the manager of the day.

My wife and I are extremely fit and active. I in particular have played numerous competitive sports. As such, despite advancing years, I am normally still mildly attracted to browsing sports retailers.
However, whilst recognising JDS is a one of the leading sports chain retailers and carries good stocks of clothing and especially of 'trainers', the inane rapping and other synthesised "music" played continuously in store was not to my liking or others of my generation accompanying me on the day. Indeed it was a major turn off!

In total contrast, the help offered to us by acting manager for the day AMY from Brighton branch, WAS QUITE EXCEPTIONAL. trying to resolve a Millets garment 'returns' issue on Thursday 5/3/20.
AMY was extremely patient and went the extra mile endeavouring to obtain good customer service and a reasonable resolution from a totally unconcerned Millets Customer Services, following JDS's temporary agreement to receive for collection, Millets' on-line customer orders given the recent closure of Millets' Redhill store.
Whilst unsuccessful in the end, our thanks go to Amy for her efforts and we hope the company is aware of and recognises her qualities.

A good range of sports wear and trainers.

I bought a pair of trainers today. When I got home realised one shoe is with dirty marks. Then I went to the store again to change that pair. The lady dealt with my issue was so rude. And when I asked her to change the pair she took that dirty shoe for cleaning instead of changing. When I asked that I want to to speak to a manager, she said she’s the manager. Her name starts with ‘H’ honestly can’t remember her name, I was stressing out. I had to wait so long until she come back with that dirty shoe.Then I had to asked her again to change that pair. She wasn’t happy to listen to me and didn’t bother to change for another pair. After she responded to me with no stocks in size 4. The way she grabbed the box from me is ridiculous. I’m not happy with her customer service. I won’t walk in to the store again.

Customer service extremmly excellent .
Staff very helpful and very friendly . I enjoy visiting this store .
