Walked into the store and was directed to the pair of shoes I needed for my girlfriends step dad, no problem there. The problem was the queue and how slow it was moving, I only had two people Infront of me but it took a good 25 minutes to get to the cashier, no idea if she was new but she was very slow and this made me feet ache. 3 stars

Today around 5 pm ish I went to buy trainers for my son who have problem with his feets the man been rude to me n with loud voice says don't touch the products. How can I not touch the trainers as I need to know what material are they n if they are comfy for my son, never meet that rude man in other shop.

I went in to buy some trainers. Stood there for waiting for staff to help, tried to get staff members attention, was blanked, ingnored and walked away from 3 times in the space of 10 minutes. I left unhappy and without purchase. Bad customer service.

Hate this shop, the fact that you can't bring anything back and get a refund for a start. Today they were advertising 2 pairs of swimming shoes for £14.00....mix and match....when I went to pay I couldn't get the deal as one pair were mens, one pair were womens and another pair were childrens...when they say mix and match you have to buy the exact same ones.....this shop infuriates me. Last week I was nearly sold a pair of trainers that didn't match....one had gone yellow on the shop floor....so glad I did a double check....the guy serving knew they were faulty and wasn't going to say anything. I don't know why I shop here!

The staff are generally friendly and helpful, and there are good prices on some things, particularly footwear. However be aware that they don't give refunds, only exchanges or credit notes, so don't take the thing home to try on if you've the slightest doubt.

I came into the town to buy some new boots for the winter. I couldn't find anything anywhere else and somebody said try Sports Direct. I found a lovely pair of firetrap ones. Well chuffed 👍
