Staff are always very helpful, easy to talk to and very accommodating. My dog is very fearful of people, particularly vets after having major surgery, but staff are always very helpful in arranging his appointments during quieter periods to avoid too much stress.

Following Covid measures means having to hand your dog over and wait outside. Luckily Muppet is fond of the staff at R,B&B so no problems. I had a phone call for an in-depth discussion with the vet which ended with a satisfactory treatment plan.

Found my 15 year old cat close to death on a Saturday, had to use emergency vet in longton. Told on the phone a £99 fee was payable. I didn't want him to suffer longer than necessary, I knew he hadn't got long to live. Arrived at longton, by this time he was barely breathing and unconscious. After 10 minutes the vet rang and said prognosis not good which was obvious when I took him in. Thankfully he was put to sleep. No problem there but then I paid £159., and they didn't charge me the consultation fee, or it would have been £259. And they wonder why people dump old animals. I dont know how they justify the cost.

Tragically had to send my boy Gus over the rainbow Bridge on Tuesday 29th march. He was seen by Claire and Jane, who acted very promptly to get him to Longton. They've known Gus since he was 8 weeks old, and have always given the best care, compassion and friendliness. And I want to say thank you to all the staff and vets also to all at Longton.

Nice little vets, we have only just joined/registered with them and the team we've met so far have all been really nice. Would love to give them five stars but man do they need some air conditioning installed. I know the fitted ones are expensive but there's some great deals on portable ones that'd do the trick. Not just for the animals but also for the poor vets, nurses and reception team! The real MVPs helping out all these lovely animals whilst in this heat.

Edit:

Went on my second visit for my pups flea treatment and they had mobile air con units! So changed my rating to 5 stars, great to see they consistently make the effort to make the place better for the pets and staff =)

Good veterinary practice, but prices are very expensive.
I think this veterinary practice could lower the price of medicine and medication in line with other practices.
The consultation fee was ridiculously high and to be honest I begrudged it but this is how they sting you .

Dudley Cat will just about tolerate you, but I think your service is amazing. Always thorough & talk me through everything. I feel at ease knowing Dudley is well looked after. :)

Very friendly and helpful. They offer great advice about your pet and are reasonably priced too. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. They also have several branches in the area.
