Absolutely fantastic, fair pricing structure for reptiles, expert knowledge not someone who just 'dabbles' in reptiles. Don't push expensive intrusive treatments, when less intrusive options will work just as well. Herp Vet with a Country Vet style, would recommend to anyone!

Bruce is an incredibly-talented and experienced vet, but above all loves the animals and their owners and is kind and gentle. I couldn't imagine another vet for my snakes.

Bruce McLean is very knowledgeable and helpful and his prices are suprisingly reasonable given the level of service and expertise.

Bruce McLean is an absolute genius. I have a huge collection of morph bearded dragons and live over 2 hours a way. I won’t go to any other vet now I have discovered him. His attention to detail, thoroughness and knowledge is quite incredible. I had a upper respiratory virus which ripped through my collection. We successfully treated them with antibiotics, and an immune booster; they all recovered. I’ve had various other problems and Bruce has always managed to find a way of treating them often by thinking outside of the box. He is clearly one of the best exotic vets in the country and I would highly recommend him to anyone who keeps reptiles. Makes a change from seeing a vet who “has an interest” in reptiles and no matter what the problem their option is “take a stool” sample and that’s pretty much it!!

Bruce is a miracle worker. Fantastic in helping us get our Tortoise back to health as was quite poorly and fantastic keeping our stress levels down knowing he was doing everything he could to help us and her.
Would recommend Bruce to anyone as very knowledgeable, very nice man and very gentle with his patients. We would not take any of our animals to anyone else.

The vet we saw was a lovely man, he was so much more helpful than other vets we've seen for our macklots python. He has better ideas for tests as well as treatments and helped with making the best decisions for our python.

The vet asked for so much more information on how we keep our python as well as other intensive information, which seems so much more professional, to help with a diagnosis.

We visited the herpvet yesterday with our bearded dragon, as I had doubts over the knowledge of the previous vet he was registered with. We are thrilled with Dr Bruce! He is obviously very knowledgeable and passionate about what he does, and actually took the time to discuss everything with us and answer questions without feeling rushed. A breath of fresh air to find someone so committed to the wellbeing of reptiles and exotics. We will 100% be using herpvet in future despite being an hour away
