I don't like the way I'm spoken to when I come into the branch. ...not all staff,but one individual in particular for some reason does not accept my lifestyle,therefore talks to me with a sarcastic tone,very unprofessional,isn't it KB

Awful, unhelpful, made my pregnant wife feel like a criminal just because she wanted to withdraw cash, and supposedly isn’t allowed, even though she has done the same thing each and every month for years, don’t know if they just felt like causing a fuss, or tried to make themselves feel important. She was very upset and called crying afterwards

Went in this morning at 10.55 am. Two tellers on. Both with customers. Queued for 25 minutes before being served. Totally unacceptable. Another customer asked if another till could be opened to be told " not now", then she walked off

Very poor customer service every time I go in. This morning I waited the expected time (lockdown) to pay in cash which i rarely need to do. When I got to the till the assistant told me I would have to go to self service machine and pay in (loads of £20 notes) myself. I find the self service difficult to use and told her that (she kept saying she couldn't hear me through the perspex) and she then said if i moved to next cashier i could pay it in over the counter as i had wanted to in the first place!!! She then entered into a long conversation with another assistant about a mother's day card she had received, whilst a very long line of people waited outside!!!! The staff are unhelpful and discourteous every time and I would suggest it is the Barclays 'culture' since I received the same poor level of service in Sussex when I lived there. Beccles Barclays we are the customers!!! Do your job properly.

Couldn't be worse. I relied on paying a cheque in on the app but it doesn't work. Day 1 I am lied to and told there is an IT outage and that it would work the next day. Day 2 I'm told there is a known problem but there's nothing they can do. There's no mention of this on the website service status and it says everything is working as expected.

Because I'm working I don't have time to cash a cheque in and it won't clear in time for me to pay bills even if I could. No solution offered. I'll bet you'll still charge me late fees on my credit card though. That system NEVER fails.

I'll be leaving Barclays as soon as it's convenient. I think a lot of others will too after their recent experiences.

My husband went to the bank at 11am this morning to find a' queue of 30 people, not surprizing as the bank has been shut for 2 days. a lot of elderly people standing in the cold and wind. |He did not stay, but will try again at 1.30. I understand about social distancing, so why close for 2 days? Come on Barclays you can do better than this.

Everyday there is at least a 20 minute wait. The only reason for a one star would be the staff are friendly.
