I've always found these people helpful and good. I've got a friend who runs a bicycle repair service and it seems to be difficult to keep every single customer happy in a business of this nature. But as I say these guys àre alright

I needed a new *insert proper technical word here* but it’s basically the black rubbery thing around the wheel, the tube? I took it in and they gave me a great replacement for my old one and I was able to collect my bike 2 hours later. They also helpfully answered my questions when I asked what the bits were called, which I feel bad for wasting their time as I’ve clearly forgotten. I will definitely go back if I ever need anything else for my bike done, and I won’t waste their time asking questions il forget the answers to

Class local bike shop. Good prices, great work. Had a tiny issue after my full service, went back and it was sorted right away. Nice one!

It was an odd feeling on my bike after Mick's lot gave it the once over. I thought for a second that perhaps I picked up the wrong bike, as this one ran so well! Suffice it say, these folk know how to do a proper gear service. I am glad I gave up fixing my bike myself.

My partner took in a bike for a plain service and was quoted £60.

On picking up the bike he was then informed that the cost would be £150.

A huge amount of work, for a bike that yes, has been outside a while, but has been ridden less than 10 times was undertaken.

These extra cost were made up in replacing parts and adding on an 'extra service' that should be part of a normal bike service. Some extra parts may have needed it, others really did not.

E.g. the necessity of replacing the brake pads, on a bike which has been used so little is really questionable.

For our bikes that we use every day for lengthy commutes we don't replace the bike pads more than twice a year.

Even sending text messages to ask and explain the problems/ costs associated would have mitigated us feeling really blindsided and ripped off on this one. As people feel awkward and pressured when it comes to the pick up.

You can't double the cost of a job without consulting customers.

This general service now cost more than the bike new.

A really poor bit of treatment.

Took my bike in when the saddle had been stolen and came out with my faith in humanity restored. Excellent service and on departing my bike felt brand new.
