B&Q Lincoln

Every job from fitting my kitchen, shower room and re-fitting my bathroom including tills flooring and fittings have all been done through B & Q, if I purchased to much or the wrong item they changed or refunded with no messing about and delivered anything I couldn't take with me .

Very busy on the bank holiday.
Taking advantage of the laminate floor sale.
Busy but still ok to walk around look at what you want etc.

Visited to buy 3 bags of 20mm gravel, a very helpful assistant directed us to where this was and then after paying, he put them in the boot of the car for me. First Class service.

What can you say about this place? It's a DIY store. Has everything all under my roof which is convenient. Mix reviews on prices. Some stuff's well overpriced and some stuff as expected.
The wood quality is shocking and I will not be buying timber from there in the future. I've continued to keep returning to try and see if their products having food. Sadly they haven't. This can also be seen on the odd or the product that they sell.
But this store sells. I think you need to refit your home and the convenience of it being all under a roof. Sometimes it's you struggle to find staff or you ask for help. Well five of them are stood huddled in an area and they don't have the time to come see you. I find a little frustrating. But they are polite -ish and do try and help.
Over the store is well organised. Just have reasonably good flow to the set out. Always checked your big goods to ensure all items are there and nothing is damaged or as check out. Get the cashier to write non checked item on purchase or get them to check it for you.
I do return to the store quite regularly as it's reasonably local to me.

I can't be on my job in time just because the lady from the trade point press by mistake to challenge me (I assume) for dob for some stain block ... even I have 35 and no one challenge my age from a lot of years ago .... so no reson to carry any id with me for buing some painting products! The should really train their staff better ....

Staff couldnt do more to help me, advice was excellent as they did not have the size conduit boxes i needed. Told me were i could get them. Great!

Visited to get some decorating supplies and had a pleasant trip. Everything was clearly laid out and staff seemed super helpful and friendly.

Absolutely huge store! So lots of choice for everything that you would expect to find here. Good sized carpark and useful customer toilets
