B&Q Aylesbury

It’s a B&Q, there’s nothing really that’s stands out about this store. Customer service is 90% of the time good. Stock levels are a bit hit or miss so I’d reserve the item online before you go to save a wasted journey!

The store has self check out points which is good as they only ever seem to have one till open which is staffed.

They offer a key cutting service via an automated machine in the entrance and have a large garden plant area at the rear of the store.

Like I said it’s bog standard and nothing to rave about.

Looking for bathroom cabinets and washbasin. Initially 4 members of staff were upstairs round the desk but they all disappeared and no- one to be found when we needed help. Waited around for ages, other customers getting cross. Husband went downstairs and a very rude girl told him staff were up there with other customers. Not true. Won't be going back. Watford branch is much better.

Had plenty of wares but a bit too orange themed for my liking. Would be nice to see a B&Q in a different shade of colour. A bit lazy when they have all that paint lying around to be honest.

Staff are lovely. It can be frustrating that some items are not available when I've travelled there. Also I bought 2 wallpaper rolls and put it up only to find there were errors in the printing. I couldn't find my receipt so they were not willing to do anything.

Very helpful staff on click & collect

Went to collect 2 chairs from the Aylesbury branch, however we couldn't even get one in the car, so asked about delivery. Staff was very helpful, even suggested we take them out of the boxes, which solved our problem, Big Thanks to all the click & collect staff for all your help

I always like B&Q, the prices are competitive and generally the staff are knowledgeable. Never had a bad experience here.

Staff did a great job of helping me find the paint I needed. The self serve check out was super quick. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes.

Not a bad store and most things are there. But the march of cashless and self service tills has infested the store. There is only 1 manned checkout where you can pay cash and they patronisingly call is cash or card "assisted" and every other way is card only self service. There are 4 of the old proper tills there that could be used instead of being asked by 10 members of staff "are you paying by card"
