Boots Opticians

Very bad Appointment system. I had my daughter's eye test appointment on Monday. We came in on time but after half an hour wait they told us that the optician was not in. They rescheduled the appointment to Saturday. Now on Saturday we are in and they are saying that the system was not working that day so your appointment is not in the system. I do not know what is going to happen. We are still waiting in the waiting area. Not happy at all.

Such a waiste of money and time. They made me pay for my mother glasses £225 and after 3 appointments with waiting time of one hour each, My mum wasn't happy with her classes because was causing her dizziness and vomiting they asked me another £90 to adjust them. They don't care at all for their customers. Such a bad customer service as well.

The opening time is incorrect. This store does not open at 9am on a Saturday. Wasted my time going early and then had to stand outside and wait.

They need to cater to darker skinned women with their foundation shades they stock. There are brands they stock that do cater for darker skinned women but they mostly have pale to medium/dark tan shades. The few dark shades they have are always unavailable.

Extremely disappointed. Waited for three weeks for eye test appointment for my two boys and on the day of the appointment they said only one them can be seen because the optician needs to leave. Very unhelpful and rude staff at the reception. When I lost my temper they started making fun of me. I'm sure if the director's board know how their stuff is working hard to loose customers they won't be happy.

Extremely poor customer service, you can never get through on the phone - they just do not answer
The actual staff are more bothered about chatting with their colleagues and give no attention to clients
My glasses were measured wrongly when double checked and the staff member just shrugged her shoulders

I have used Boots opticians for many years. I am pleased to say that I have never been let down by the services. Today (11th October 2022) was no exception. All staff were attentive and the overall service was excellent. "Many Thanks" and keep up the excellent work.

This is my regular opticians and I always get fantastic service here. Recently, when I had my eye test, I was supported by Amrit who helped me choose a frame and lens which best fit my needs. The whole team were brilliant and attentive throughout the process, even though they were clearly very busy.

Before the Covid 19 started I went to the Boots Opticians in Ilford Town to have my eyes tested,a year later I bought a new pair of glasses from them,the 1st pair were good,but the 2nd pair were excellent,I enjoy the 2nd pair so much.
