The Mitre Hotel

We had such a special wedding at The Mitre - every detail was looked after with 5* service - from guests arriving by boat to champagne towers! Our guests still haven't stopped praising all the delicious food and great service from the team over the entire day! This was the first time we stayed over at The Mitre and the rooms are all so lovely, with small details really thought out with lovely personal touches for our wedding day.
We have also had MANY meals out on the terrace and in the Orangery with family and friends, and every time the service and food have been amazing.

Stayed in the Catherine Parr Suite for 3 nights across our wedding in August (bank hol). The room is beautiful - large, clean, comfortable, complimentary mini-bar (+ welcome wine and cookies), efficient room service and has views over to the Palace. The meal we had there was really good quality and the breakfast selection is good too (although a shame cooked breakfast isn't included unless you're in a suite). The staff were all helpful and friendly and any issues were dealt with quickly. Staying again in December!

Me and my partner got married here in September and I can honestly say the staff went above and beyond for us. Carolina the event planner was sensational, she was so helpful throughout the whole process and her attention to detail on the day was more than we could have ever asked! We love her!
So many of our guests said it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding, the head chef Ronnie was so great too; we loved that he popped out to meet us in the tasting and a few other times that we visited. These little things from Carolina and Ronnie just made the whole process so enjoyable and dare I say it- stress free and just the best! Thank you so so much! Fantastic stay, in a beautiful setting on the Thames. Perfect location, being directly opposite Hampton Court Palace and close to Hampton Court station.
The staff were very efficient and friendly, only too happy to help make my stay as perfect as it could be.
I dined in the restaurant. Lovely food and fabulous service.
My room was excellent, with beautiful views and a very comfortable bed. Much larger than the average hotel room, with good provisions. I stayed in the Royal room 'Mary'.
Compliments to the manager and every one in the team. I will be back!

The hotel was lovely and comfortable, staff very friendly and helpful but the breakfast was not great. The continental was fine but the cooked breakfast was cold and had obviously been prepared hours ago. Bit disappointing considering the price!

We stayed here for a short honeymoon break last year and we still have fond memories of our time here. It’s taken me a while to write this review but wanted to share the wonderful experience of staying at The Mitre. The service was excellent with attentive and knowledgeable staff. The breakfast and dinner were delicious along with the fancy cocktails. The room was very comfortable and spacious with a quaint charm and a beautiful bathtub. We enjoyed great views of the Thames and the convenience of Hampton Court Palace being across the road. Overall, we were made to feel very special and will definitely plan to stay again.

We had our wedding reception at The Mitre and it was nothing short of amazing. We will never be able to thank Carolina enough for her dedication and kindness. Carolina spent the year helping us plan and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. Carolina is a real credit to The Mitre and has made the past year of planning so happy for us. Even when we would pop by for a drink/food, Carolina was always there to welcome us and make us smile.

Our friends and family cannot stop talking about the incredible food we had and said it was the best wedding banquet they’d ever had! Everyone keeps telling us that they will be going back. Every member of staff was wonderful on the day and we can’t thank them enough. The service was amazing.

They went above and beyond to ensure that our evening was magical. We stayed in the King Henry VIII suite on the night of our wedding and it was just beautiful. The interiors of the room are beautiful and so delicately designed. We didn’t want to leave!

We are already looking forward to our anniversary when we get to stay again and re-live the day! My husband and I cannot recommend The Mitre enough.

Our stay at The Mitre hotel was exceptional from the moment we walked through the door. Greeted with a glass of wine and a friendly face meant a lot. It was my wife's birthday and she was made to feel very special throughout our stay. The room was cosy and beautiful and the Brasserie food and wine could not be faulted. I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone as it is located perfectly overlooking the Thames and directly opposite Hampton Court Palace.
