Station House Hotel and Cafe Bar

Nice cafe and set up, however the prices are really high for what you get - small cake slices at premium prices and very plain and ordinary food for the cost.
I’d love to see the cafe improve the quality, portion size and variety of what is on offer if the prices stay this high.
Great service though, always lovely front of house and a nice place to relax in South Brent.

Excellent food, nice vibe with lovely surroundings. Staff were very friendly and accommodating- would definitely visit again! We were a large group that turned up without warning and they handled it brilliantly!

Brilliant place to meet up and have a cosy meal and drinks, staff are very friendly and serve you at your table and the host makes a fantastic pizza

Lovely place, recently modernised but with the history of the building preserved. Very accommodating host, and great food. Ideal for a dartmoor cycling stop-off.
Only suggestion for improvement would he a QR code or similar to allow tips at the cafe, rather than/as well as a jar.

I had a 2 night stay at the Station House Hotel and had a really lovely break there. I stayed in the Brent room which was perfect and very quiet and peaceful. The bed was comfortable and gave me a great sleep. There was a well stocked fridge in the room and tea and coffee was provided and you could get a good breakfast in the cafe downstairs. The shower was powerful and plenty of hot water. The owner was really helpful and friendly too, I would definitely stay here again if I came back.
