Terrible customer service at least 40 mins wait everytime I go in with 2 small children to occupie. Don't offer telephone consultations with doctors or nurses and the pharmacy is very slow

Friendly, helpful and professional patient support staff, nurses and GP's, yes the nurses and GP's often running late, but considering the amount of time they have per patient I'm happy to wait. Telephone and face to face appointments available at present which is good.

I usually have a very positive experience at this surgery however after being spoken to like a child by the receptionist and being made to wait outside and ‘look through the window’ for my name on the screen (which I couldn’t see, and was snapped at when I told the receptionist this) because I didn’t have a negative lateral flow test with me, despite saying I had taken one earlier that day off my own back for work. I was sent a text 5 minutes before my appointment, just as I arrived at the surgery to bring a negative lateral flow, I was not informed of this requirement prior to my appointment. I am very disappointed, and feel very frustrated as this caused me to forget questions I wanted to ask during my appointment. Unfortunately this is why doctors receptionists have a bad reputation. It is a shame that I work at the other local doctors surgery and cannot be registered there, as I begrudge returning now.

Treated terribly, wasn't listened to and rushed out the door. Came to the doctor's at 18 and got diagnosed with low mood, turns out I had severe depression brought on by undiagnosed severe ADHD. May as well just be a prescription dispensary..

The staff at this surgery are & have been amazing, hardworking & conscientious at all times. Despite working under great pressure, especially during & post Covid, continue to offer great support & understanding. Not sure if many are aware, this surgery covers many areas apart from Newbold, which is growing, & as far as Kirby Muxloe. Think how stretched they are because of local council & government lack of funding. Like you & me our surgery staff are only human. We have responsibility for our health, doctors are there to reassure & offer what they know, to the best of their abilities. Receptionist are under great pressure to get appointments for us all. They are human. Most issues occur because of miscommunication & panic. Sometimes when we are ill, we have to remember, stay calm breathe & if you’re breathing good, pain manageable, you’re okay, you can probably wait for appointment. If you’re struggling call 999. Just like they advise. Remember, No one can stop illnesses nor prevent them & GPs are trying their best, sometimes even skipping breaks, just to support us patients. So next time you get angry or impatient think, in many countries paying to see a doctor is expensive & the norm. Without our NHS we too will have to pay. Breathe & treat ours with respect they deserve. No one can cure us of everything, but we can cure the long waiting times if we use our common sense. Please show some kindness to our GPs, nurses & receptionists, they are a truly rare commodity & are getting less. Stay kind & be thankful. Blessings of love always.

I'd give it 0 stars if I could. You get an appointment, yet wait 50 minutes to be seen every time. May as well not have an appointment because they never run on time.
Doctors are rude.

I cannot believe the negative reviews, I have been treated really well by Dr Spaul, Dr King and most recently Dr Morris who was still calling patients (my self included )at 9pm last night !!
We ALL need to be more than grateful for our overused, abused NHS, they all do their absolute BEST for each and every one of us, so PLEASE quit the abuse to the staff, either that or go elsewhere, your own choice, I watched a film at the Drs earlier this week and the abuse given to staff is disgusting and totally UNECCESSARY. Rant over.

Excellent doctors! Always very thorough and very helpful!!! Far better than all of my previous doctors where we lived before.
