If you call for an emergency the receptionist acts like tbey own the place.people in pain need to see someone. I was also told after having heart attack that it was not due to pain in wrong arm, this by a female doctor who should of know better.therefore only go WHEN REALLY NEED TO..
Appointments are hard to get when needed especially when people work. Being told to call tomorrow just isn't good enough

After contacting 111 and having a pretty serious issue I needed to get checked. I rang to see if I could get a call back from a doctor, i wasnt even asked what the problem was, just told that i have to call at 8 am and all the appointments were gone. The receptionist was so rude. I contacted 111 again and was advised that if I couldnt see a doctor, I would have to go to Newark hospital. This wasnt possible as its 14 miles away and I don't drive. After calling the surgery for the second time, you can imagine I'm getting a bit distressed, but the woman didnt seem to give a toss. I was agreed a call back from a doctor, but no indication of time given. When I was unable to answer the call due to being in a work meeting, I had to contact the surgery again to advise of this and received the same incredibly rude receptionist who said "if you're on the triage list you need to be available to take the call". I would make myself available for the call, if I knew what time I was getting the call. I have a full time job and cannot just answer the phone in the middle of a meeting.
I'm astounded as to how insensitive, rude and unprofessional this individual was.

Having been in discomfort Sunday evening and yesterday, I phoned Keyworth Medical Practice around 5.30pm when the discomfort was getting severe. The receptionist was very helpful. A doctor called me back within half an hour and I was given an appointment at East Bridgford Practice at 7.40pm. I cannot emphasis enough how good this practice is.

I’m sure like all-of people the dentist can be a very frightful experience. I suffer with anxiety going to to the dentist, but I must say that keyworth dental practice are amazing! I can not even begin to show my gratitude to all the staff there. They make you feel Warm and welcoming and treat you with so much kindness which from the start put my anxiety at ease. They are extremely professional, pleasant and I am very grateful for the work carried out on my teeth.

Thank you for being such wonderful people and thank you for treating me so kindly. I actually look forward to my next check up ( I never thought I would say those words ) they really are just amazing!! 😊

I find this surgery to be so accessible and helpful. Both reception staff and doctors alike are compassionate and helpful. Same day telephone appointments are easy to get and followed up with opportunity to see a doctor quickly face to face if required.

Do NOT be frightened to call KMP if you are really bothered about a health query. I phoned last Friday as my husbands belly and legs had become swollen, and his breathing extremely difficult and shallow. After speaking to the receptionist, she arranged for us to be called back by a nurse. Within an hour we had seen Dr.Neave who after a very long and patient consultation, and tests, he diagnosed him with Atrial Fibrillation. He was in the QMC Urgent Trauma unit by teatime. After tests throughout the night he was transferred to the City Cardiology unit at 7am.the following day. I was told, at Queens, that if we hadn’t had such quick intervention my husband would have been unlikely to last the week! SO Thank you KMP team. I am very grateful for your help. You all helped to save his life!! 5*****

Why is it SO difficult to get through and then when youre in the phone queue the line goes dead, thats taken 7 attempts his morning, and many hours later. Yes i agree being polite doesnt cost a bean. Its just about impossible to get an appointment and sounds like a real effort for some members of staff!
