This is clearly a busy practice but I never have trouble speaking to a doctor when I really need it. All the doctors I’ve spoken to have been understanding and thorough. The two nurses I’ve seen on a few occasions are absolutely at the top of their profession: not only knowledgeable and infinitely kind but truly skilled blood-takers - wouldn’t even know I’d had anything done. So grateful I get to feel so safe and looked after by my GP and nurses, thank you.

The best GP ever!! All the doctors are really caring and knowledgable, and it’s fast and easy to get an appointment. Thank you!

In general the medical staff (Doctors and Nurses) are absolutely brilliant and very keen to help. This is unfortunately let down by poor communication with and between reception staff. Getting an appointment less than a month away is extremely difficult without disclosing full medical details to them. The administrators entirely lack compassion.

I feel very lucky to be a patient at this surgery. Originally, I got to know a couple of the senior doctors and was a little worried when they retired a few years ago, but their replacements have been equally good. The nurses have always been great too. I'm really impressed by the reception team because they are always friendly and professional, and they do everything they can to make sure you can see or speak to a doctor quickly when needed.

Medical staff are superb but their admin is appalling. I've been without essential medicine more than 5 times the last year because they kept taking my meds off repeat, without telling me. So I'd wait until my meds are close to done to re-order on NHS app, only to find it does not appear. Call the surgey, no answer. Leave them an online message, get a dismissive text back. Try to book with GP, told to wait three weeks. I once had to call NHS Direct to get some movement, after having 6 days without medicine, no response from GP, and going through severe withdrawal, missing work and destroying my mind. Never received an apology or explanation. And guess what, they have now done it again! What's that, 6 times in a year? So basically every time I need my meds, I have to go through the Kafkaesque nightmare of getting hold of someone to explain that I am about to throw myself off a cliff because I am without my medicine through no fault of my own. Really, really, awful for people with mental health issues. A disgrace, actually; especially the tone of some of the receptionists (if you get through). Do they realise that some of their patients are on the edge and the last thing they need when they are in desperation is to hit a dismissive and rude barrier to their essential and primary care. NHS underfunding is one thing, poor, terrible patient service and care is another.

In the past half year, I have had several GP appointments with doctors here for my 2 years old son. Doctors in this surgery are good. The explaination and instruction from them are clear even if I’m a immigrant who still has language barrier. They are very patient with me.

Moreover, I also wanted to thanks to Dr. Wilmot who my son had recent two GP appointments with. He is so good. My son used to be grumpy when he got into the surgery. However, during the appointments with Dr. Wilmot, he hadn't been grumpy and cried. He can even happily interact with Dr. Wilmot. As parents, this means a lot! Thanks, Dr. Wilmot!

I needed a consultation with a GP. I found the staff friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The GP did a full assessment, provided me with information and discussed with me all the options in a clear and understandable manner. I felt part of the decision-making and planning for my treatment.
As other people mentioned, the waiting and the process for the appointment could be improved, but I can´t blame them as I am aware of the actual situation of the NHS.

Sadly this once fine Practice has gone downhill remarkably quickly (the rot set in during the pandemic). Reception is often dreadful - half the time the people who answer the 'phone don't understand what you are asking so frustratingly one ends up going round in circles. In one case a medically unqualified receptionist said the results of a test were 'fine, normal', which was very surprising. After much to-ing and fro-ing managed to talk to a doctor who confirmed they were NOT normal. There no longer seems to be a joined-up & effective system for communication between doctors and patients. All in all now resembles a badly-run Call Centre.
