West Heath Surgery

Dr Shah and his team are brilliant. They have been such a help to my daughter and I since we joined the practice. Their Covid vaccination centre was extremely efficient and well run at a very difficult time. All of the staff are knowledgeable and approachable and help in any way they can.

One of the best Dr's surgery, I have been to. It is clean and tidy inside, it has a big reception area, plenty of seating, and suitable for people with disabilities to get about.
All the doctors and nurses that I have met there so far, where professional, friendly and approachable.

I have complex health conditions that have been largely dismissed until I came to this GP and Dr Shah has supported me significantly. It's important I have autonomy over my own body and Dr Shah has supported with this. He has helped me understand my symptoms and clarifies the treatment plan at the end of every visit. He takes the time to explain things to me and never rushes me-very person centred. I am grateful he is direct and honest with me, as well as manages my expectations from the service and helps me understand what standard of care I am entitled to. He shows compassion and empathy and sometimes this is all thats needed when nothing more can be done. I would also like to say the same about Dr George, he was kind and empathic when having an emergency visit with him. I've progressed with my health condition more in the last 6 months under Dr Shah than I ever have in the 10 years of having these issues, so thank you.
Also I'm very pleased when calling the surgery it let's you know what number you are in the que!

I really cannot fault this Surgery. In my experience, all serious (or potentially serious) health issues I've had have been dealt with promptly and with compassion by all the people who work here. Everyone is friendly, and approachable - GPs, Receptionists, and other Allied Health Professionals and others I have come into contact with. Thank you to all of you, you're all doing an amazing job.

Dr Shah is absolutely amazing, the surgery itself is very professional and they go above and beyond for their patients. The receptionists are very polite, they take their time to find you suitable appointments.

This is a great surgery! They have been very professional in all matters and very helpful when needed. I have had quite a few blood tests taken and the nurses have managed to find my veins from the first try! That says a lot when you had problems with that all your life and have been pricked 3-4 times to get results. But the star has to be Dr. SHAH. He is just brilliant!sorted my son's eczema that we have been battling for more than a year, sorted my medical conditions and got the best help by recommending me to the program I needed. He is the most professional and knowledgeable GP I have met. Couldn't recommend him and the surgery any higher!

I’ve been at the surgery for as long as I can remember and I always have a good service.

Dr Shah and Simon (paramedic) have been so helpful this year with my own illnesses and my daughters ENT refer all.

I always feel heard and listened to and taken seriously.

Reception team are fast and effective.

I can't fault west heath doctors they have been fantastic for myself with all my health needs and my daughters ADHD and Autism, the staff are always friendly and even if no appointments face to face you can usually have a telephone consult. Thank you again especially Dr Shah and the nurses, and reception staff.
