Appointments are 99% on time, friendly staff, great Doctors, all of them. Needed a Dr's note which can take up to 2 weeks but had it within 2 days as requested . Very pleased with this practice. Kind . caring doctors, never feel rushed.

Absolutely ridiculous! They expect you to book and attend that day for an appointment?! I work 8 till 5, 5 days a week, I can't just drop work and attend an appointment I have to give at least two days notice unless it's an emergency. It's completely inconsiderate for the people who work full time and are unable to just walk out of work for an appointment. I've tried asking to book an appointment in advance but the receptionists aren't the most helpful. Very disappointed!

What can I say about this very poorly run practice. It is extremely bad at delivering adequate care never mind quality care to the patients that it should provide for. I would strongly suggest that anyone who is considering registering with this practice to reconsider and seriously look at what else is available in this area.

Been ringing up for a week to try and get an appointment every morning I have rang at 8:30 and all opening are gone EVERY TIME I can’t even speak to my doctor you are utterly useless as a surgery if you want urgent care then don’t ring this place because you won’t get through

Only 11 appointments available on any morning so you have no hope of getting one. It used to be a whole lot better.

I found out from the nurse a few years ago when I went for my cholesterol check that I had chronic kidney disease & was at stage 3. When I asked why I hadn't been told before I was told it was not the policy of the practice to let patients know, so basically I could get to stage 4, & have to go on dialysis & then they would tell me. They ckeck my kidneys every 12 months when I have my cholesterol checked, but have had no help or advice from them. I did write a letter of complaint which they said they never received, even though I posted it through the letterbox & their excuse was they had new management. I then handed in another letter to a receptionist but the letter is not in my file & has disappeared. Am looking to go elsewhere. Gave 1 star only because I couldn't give less.

I have to post this review to save any young girls or women going through what I just have.

I had an abortion appointment and was told that when I go I would be given a lot of advice and support. I went in and there was 2 women not in uniform just having a chat and a cup of tea They looked at me and said ‘have you got an appointment’ I said yes and they said “ok go and sit out there”. A Really rude way to greet someone anyway so I sat and cried. Then 15 minutes go by after my appointment time and the 2 women are still sat talking so I’m thinking that the Dr must be busy. Little did I know it was the lady talking that would be doing my appointment. She then walked into the waiting room I was in and put a box of masks in front of my face didn’t ask me to put one on politely just sat it there so I did. She walked off not making it clear I was to follow her so I sat back down and then she said ‘follow me’ , she took me into the room and this is where it gets worse.

She said “so what treatment have you chosen” I said “well I haven’t really been told much they said you would give me advice’ and she went “well you’ve had the counselling?” I told her I had but they said the appointment would go into detail about my options and that I was scared of taking the tablet, to which any professional would an should have give reassurance however I received none. She point blank said ‘we need to no your 100% about your decision that’s our main worry” I said I was. (During all of this she asked no medical history didn’t ask if my situation was consensual nothing) so she sat me on the bed and she’s scanning me. She was asking me questions about the father etc but not offering any support whilst I’m crying my eyes out as if I don’t feel enough guilt already. Didn’t ask me for a tissue just sat there watching me cry.

Then to top the whole awful experience off I left and my car was completely blocked in by another car so I went back into reception and the receptionist said “oh it’s because you’ve parked in the doctors spot that’s why” so I was really apologetic and she said “don’t worry I’ll tell him I’ll slap you later” clearly joking however EXTREMELY unprofessional. The worst part is there was no sign post for this specific parking space to say it’s the doctors and when I rang BPAS before they said there’s a public car park and you can park anywhere so he clearly uses this spot as his own.
Absolutely disgusting if anyone reading this has a sensitive appointment like mine I strongly advise you go else where because you won’t be met with support or compassion. I went on my own and it’s lucky im a strong person because I really felt helpless. I am currently in contact with BPAS head office and will be getting in touch with the medical centre manager also. If I could give no stars I would.

Struggle to get appointments. Any concept of a waiting list or queue would be an improvement
