Was in the process of leaving the surgery due to moving but had an appointment booked and confirmed by them but on arriving the receptionist said they could no longer see me as I’m now not their patient, the day before when I rang to check they said I was still able to attend...... very rude receptionist today just said there is nothing I can do you have left and attitude of hand gesture suggests she really doesn’t care less! Fair better practice with the old receptionists and retired doctors, first and last impressions count in any public roll and the front of house here is rude, unhelpful and think they are doctors themselves

!!!!!! The worst clinic you can imagine!! nightmare!!! (I wonder how many people have already died by this clinic! ) I have the impression that this is the usual laundry money! no one is ever there. The ladies at the reception are very not nice sometimes even offend you. I hope that it will close this place as soon as possible for the good and health of people !!!!

Just tried to book an appointment to be told can only book on day. You cant even book in advance. By far the worst surgery I have attended over the years. I couldnt even tell you who my Dr is as I have never seen them. I have only ever seen the nurse practioner as I recall. Not everybody has the luxury of sitting at home to call bang on 8am. Just disgusted time for a new surgery who actually want to see patients...

Dr Poto Martin, is an absolutely brilliant doctor, kind, caring and so thorough, just how we remember our doctors used to be.. If it wasn’t for her, I can’t begin to imagine where we would be now..! Always loved Dr Sam and was so sad when he retired, but now they have another Dr who really cares about her patients.. Wouldn’t ever want to see anyone else..

Like all NHS surgeries the practise is struggling to cope with demand. Appointment booking on the day makes it hard to be ‘responsible’ and book at appropriate times in the future. The receptionists blow hot and cold with some much better than others…I can’t imagine the job is fun. I tend to work with Dr De Silva and have no complaints he is always helpful and empathetic - and stressed! I find emails work best for follow ups and non-urgent items. You could do a lot worse

I'm not sure of the authenticity of some of these reviews as we've had nothing but fantastic treatment from this surgery and its staff. Amazing care and consideration for our entire family. Thank you.

My husband rang up yesterday after talking to an out of hours gp at the weekend who said if he's no better by Monday he needs to get in with his gp if meds aren't working. Was told no appts and would need to ring back in the morning or she can pre-book one for Wednesday for another issue he has that's related even with how bad he is. Or she can get him in at harbour fields in rushden for an evening appointment. Told her numerous times we needed an appointment today and not tomorrow l, one he needs seen today and two we can't do tomorrow due to my working hours. This was repeated several times. This receptionist then asked if we could make tonight at 6 which was great. Rushed over to only be told the appt was made for tomorrow and they trried to ring meadows to rectify the situation only to be told they couldn't find him on the system sorry.. even the rushden receptionist said what an awful job tthe meadows receptionist has done. Another call to 111 as we were left with no other choice, had to go to Kettering general, turns out he's got a badly infected lung. An absolute shambles of a practice.
